Condemned is a progression focused guild who also enjoys playing other games together. We have adult humor and an adult atmosphere. During raids we allow some goofing off but are ready to focus and get the win. Our members seek to either provide a fun environment for each other through casual play or seek to be the best the game has to offer (raiding). Our members are encouraged to theory-craft and perfect their specs and rotations. Our members come to raids prepared with enough gold to cover repairs themselves and consumables to go all night (ranks have guild repairs).
Condemned is currently 2/12 ToT and all T14 Cleared.
Our Tanks understand that timely mitigating is > spamming abilities. That survival is as much on them as it is on the healers.
Our DPS understand that their job is to maximize dps and minimize raid damage. It is their job to reduce the required healing for each fight through boss up-time and not standing in fire.
Our healers understand that overheals and HPS will not save a bad string and that smart healing is better than throughput. That, when used properly, using throughput intellegently is their job.
Everyone understands that dispels are not the healers job. It is everyone's job to dispel. Our members understand that the loss of our dispel global cool-down also saves a healer global cool-down and will net more raid DPS because people survive when healers have to make less choices about who to heal or dispel.
Condemned has two raid groups and has raids Tuesday-Sat. The progression group runs Tue/Wed/Friday and our second group runs Thurs/Sat (will be adding another day). All raids begin 6pm server and end approximately 10pm server, weekends may vary.
I Only Want the Main Group
Progression raids are open to any member online and are based on comp needs. Core members will usually run but occasionally we need to sub players to get around boss mechanics, 3 heal, etc... Being online and available is a good way to get into the core group. We seek high playtime players in both Raiding and Casual. Many of our core have been raiding together since vanilla. Every progression raider must earn their spot. This might mean raiding with group two until necessary. Condemned may run two raids but we only have one raid team. All raids server the purpose of gearing players to beat progression content. Every upgrade in T14 and T15 is an increase in the power behind the entire team. Progression raiders are those who have put in the time to earn a spot or play a vital role we may be lacking (and are geared enough).
5 Days is Too Much
Our base belief is that RL > WOW. At times players will take absences from the game. As a team, we will cover each other. In addition, we believe that casual and social play are every bit as valuable as raiding. While many of us play wow to raid, the social aspect of guilds must be growing with raiding; not every night can be a raid. In addition, not everyone will attend every raid. We need dungeons, scenarios, and challenge modes completed every week. We need players completing dailies and progressing on their own time as much as within raids. Casuals are needed to provide some raid assistance, some social, and income to the guild bank through quests and weekly guild rewards; casuals are very important.
