So, I have posted a few times on the forums both in general and on the VeCo forums asking about RP.
Basically, I want to know what kind of RPing you guys do. I know that on Veco, most RPing takes place in guild chat or on private chat channels. I enjoy RPing quite a bit, some of the best times I have ever had were sitting down with my friends, having a couple drinks, and playing some 3.5 edition D&D. I'm looking to have some good times with good people, like I once had before I moved to a small town in Iowa.
Well, I normally spontaneously RP with friends or people that I get to know if I happen to see them in the World... of WarCraft. I generally don't RP in guild chat or private channels as it's kind of exclusive. Blacktooth Grin (Horde), and Knights of Dusk (Alliance) I think, both RP in guild chat. I'm not sure of a positive hotspot to go for Horde RP, but if you go Alliance, you can -usually- find KoD RPing in their inn @ Darkshire.
Ironforge and Stormwind are becoming off-again/on-again hotspots for walk-up RP, surprisingly. People usually walking (and not actually running) will RP with you if you initiate.
I've not seen a WHOLE lot of walk-up RP outside of major cities (and "claimed" locations), but it's getting better.
Some good RP and WPVP between the RP/Faction Rivalries. Hope to see you out there! I think most of the below guilds RP out of Guild Chat.
Knights of Dusk, they RP in Darkshire.
The Gathering, they RP at the Wildhammer Keep in Hinterlands
Guardians of the Light, I think they are in Lakeshire?
Blacktooth Grin, I think they are in Stonard?
