/use [pet:fel imp] Flee
/use [pet:fel imp] Singe Magic(Special Ability)

Are you targeting a friendly when casting this? Otherwise Singe Magic won't work.

/use [pet:fel imp;target=player] Singe Magic(Special Ability)

Maybe something like that to make sure that Singe Magic will always remove a spell from you.

the fel imp doesn't have singe magic. it has a different spell (Sear magic) and if I remember right sear magic needs to be targeted at an area (like a frost mage pet freeze).

It has nothing to do with your spec, it has to do with your talents.

- The regular imp has singe magic
- The fel imp (from grimoire of supremacy) has sear magic

your macro says "fel imp", the fel imp cannot cast singe magic. Either change your macro to say "imp" or to say "sear magic" and it will work.

EDIT: To clarify, this is the imp: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_mprnb0C4Oi8/SxaL71xvRUI/AAAAAAAAAlk/s8Oa8ESnEyw/s400/imp.jpg

and this is the fel imp: http://i.imgur.com/CQUkk.jpg

So what do you need the macro to do? I personally use a mouseover singe magic macro so I can dispel myself or an ally easily.

Do you want the imp to only dispel yourself? or do you care whether or not it dispels someone else?

#showtooltip
/cast [@mouseover,help][@target,help][@player] Singe Magic

Does it matter? Cuz whoever it dispels it also dispels a friendly target too.... or atleast that's what the tooltip says? well I guess it'd matter if ur not all in range of each other....

This one might work for either imp, though I haven't tested it.

#showtooltip
/cast [@mouseover,help][@target,help][@player] Sear Magic; Singe Magic
