The healing nerf is the worst thing to happen to PvP right. The insane burst going around needed to be fixed first, before healing was tuned. Players should not be soloing Gladiator caliper Healers, but that is exactly what we've got going on right now. The result is one of the worst PvP seasons ever.


a healer shouldn't beat a gladiator geared dps either. i'm healer but i can out dps you.

In every online game a healer can't not beat dps in dps that just fact, i don't care if people say but healer has be op so he can heal everyone. it's job of other pvp members to guard the healer, if they don't guard it it's they fault and don't need buff healing.

If they make it so it usually only takes one dps to kill a healer, that will most likely mean 1 dps will almost always win that fight. That's the definition of imbalance. Of course I don't believe it should take 3-4 dps 5 minutes to kill one either, and I only play healers in bgs. It's a hard thing to balance imho.

There are too many self heals and interrupts all classes have now to give a healer much of a chance to kill another player on them. It will make healing pretty much pointless in BGs, unless the healers just LOVES staring at rez timers the whole bg.

I'm completely floored that people are saying that healing has been OP in MoP.

Since launch, my heals healed for about half of the percentage of the average health bar as previously. Example: In cata, rejuv would heal for about 5-6% of someone's health per tick. In MoP AT LAUNCH it only healed for about 2.5%. Yet nerfs were still needed? Health pools have grown because of gear since then, dps has increased, but heals have STAYED THE SAME.

Healers were nerfed into oblivion coming into the expansion. The calls for additional nerfs are extremely confusing and unwarranted. Why are dps allowed to continue to get stronger, health pools increased, and healers keep getting nerfed so that they can't scale?

If you're complaining about healing being op this expansion, did you even play in cata? Cata healing was SO much more powerful than MoP has been, period.

I agree. Some of the nurfs were needed but this extra 15% was way over the top. Prior to this I was die'n only if the dps was interrupting or cc'n me.That is completely understandable and any healer should die in a 2v1 senerio when they are getting interupted/cc'd. But they should not be die'n if they are getting hit by dps and killed without a single interupt.

2nd wind can only be used at 35% or less hp, not at full hp like a normal heal.

I agree. 1 dps should never be able to solo a healer or it makes healing pointless. The healer is taking up a spot where a dps could have made a difference in the game.

I'm fine with healers not surviving against 3-4 people like we did in cata (so fun wasn't it? :D) because that was op and I could completely control flag bgs. But the game hasn't been that way since mop launch, and all of these nerfs have been unnecessary. The nerf just coming into the expansion was sufficient.

Blizzard needs to keep in mind that there aren't that many people willing to heal in bgs to begin with. If you have them so weak that they can't even keep themselves alive, they're not going to play. What's the point in going into a game, not being able to keep a single person up without blowing everything and running out of mana...then dying? As of right now, healers are less useful in bgs than dps. You get targeted, you die.

Which roll is made to take hits? healer or tank? but yet people say dps can take down tank one vs one or it's unfair.

If blood dk get yell at for living against many then why does healers allow to do it? healers and tank don't share same role. Tanks take the hits, healers do the healing. No way a healer should take more hits and live than a tank

Healers are focused in pvp. Tanks are not.

Healers need to be the tanks of pvp for it to work. Tanks are taking the damage in pve, healers take the majority in pvp. Therefore, healers need more survivability in pvp than tanks.

If bosses had real AI in pve, they'd be killing the healers. You can't trick people into focusing tanks and ignoring healers. Healers and tanks play different roles in pvp than pve

Also i find it odd people comparing random bg's to RBG's/Arena's. That's like saying "Hey I do great in heriocs. Oh what there's raids? How do I do in that? I suck, but Heroics!!"

Those are pve scenarios inside of pvp where a tank is needed. But for the majority of pvp, healers need the survivability. If you look at the damage taken in recount while in a pvp match, you'll see healers taking several times more damage than tanks. Nobody focuses tanks.

CC's in general in this game are way out of control... I used to really enjoy PVP but I hate it now. As a healer I arrive on the scene of a fight to so some healing and It's just a freaking CC storm. The CC trinket needs to have like 5 clicks per 2 min cooldown cycle to be of any use anymore just about.

Half the players have the 'healers must die' addon. Healers most definitely do get focused. Maybe you should try playing as one in pvp and see what it's like. My guess is, you'd go into the fetal position and cry for your mommy :P

Healing in bgs is the absolute hardest job in pvp. Even if your team sucks and you're losing, you're still having to work hard to lose.

I used to do nothing in this game but play random bgs. I did it as destro/demo/aff warlock, frost/arcane mage, feral/balance/resto druid, and shadow/disc priest. I did nothing else in this game, because I enjoyed it. I know what it's like to be on both sides of the fence. I've never tanked in bgs, but I'm pretty sure I know where the damage and healing is going as I'm the healer and that's my job. Tanks are the least likely to be targeted/last to be targeted.
