The Fading Sun
Part One: First Steps

(January 8th)

The ESO arrives in Pandaria to aid in the Horde and Alliance conflict. While the unit gathers at Domination Point, they are given the assignment to track down and recover a lost team of Reliquary agents somewhere in the Karasang Wilds.

With Klien and Asharri leading their unit, they trek deeper and deeper into foreign territory. Not only was the threat of Alliance high in the area, but there was also the threat of other hidden dangers native to the wilds.

After a great deal of traveling, the group encounters a bag lying in the middle of the path they were taking. The elven craftsmanship of the bag itself was quite out of place within the wilds, and to the relief of the ESO, a clue had finally been recovered.

No sooner than one of their newer recruits, Solanarian, had begun investigating the bag, Nimraama tore off into the skies on her dragonhawk to gain an aerial perspective on the area. Especially, to the north where it seemed the tracks veered off path and into the heart of the wilds.

As the ESO followed the tracks, they were soon greeted with the sight of a small Alliance force up ahead. Not only that, but the Reliquary agents they had been ordered to find, were at the mercy of their captors. Spotting the unit, the Alliance force quickly initiated an attack.

By Klien's order, the rest of the ESO moved in to attack. With the Alliance force outnumbered, the ESO was victorious; only a handful of members sustaining any injuries. Raelen Skyrunner taking the worst of it.

As wounds were being treated, Klien and Asharri moved in and began questioning the Reliquary agents. After finding out that the artifacts they had been transporting had been stolen by a group of bandits, Klien ordered Asharri and Aaden to secure safe passage back to Domination Point for the agents. As she and Aaden did this, the rest of their team began their move northward; following the proclaimed path the bandits took.

Part Two: The Jade Forest

(January 10th)

After spending much time on the heels of the bandits, the ESO arrives in Hondeydew Village on the northern shores of the Jade Forest. Given the hospitality of the native pandaren, the ESO agreed to their terms of not staying very long.

Receiving some valuable information, the ESO comes to find that the bandits they had been tracking left shortly before their arrival and were now scaling the nearby cliffs to the sea below. Determined to stop them before they made it to a ship, Klien orders for his unit to do whatever they could to stop them.

Gaining a swifter means of passage down to the shores below, the ESO confronts the bandits. Battle immediately errupts just as quickly as they glance upon each other. Gaining victory over their foes, the team finds all of the artifacts stolen from the Reliquary agents but one. With only one of the bandits alive to tell the tale, the goblin confesses to them that they sold the lone artifact to a group of heavily robed individuals who were heading towards Kun-Lai.

With Aaden taking a pretty bad hit from the conflict, Kulthanos and Sivharra are ordered to get him back up to the village as quickly as possible so he recover. Meanwhile, Klien orders that they are to remain in Honeydew Village until Aaden is well enough to travel.

Part Three: Hunting Shadows

(January 15th)

With Aaden fully recovered from his wounds, a faster mode of transportation became available to the ESO to make up for the days of lost travel . Though uneasy of giving passage to these foreign elves, the pandaren agreed with some less than subtle persuasion from Klien.

Traveling by foot, the cultists they now tracked would not move very fast. Using the hot air balloon, the ESO would easily be able to head them off in Kun-Lai. And so, the ESO took to the skies with only a limited number of their members. Enough to go undetected, and enough to be effective.

Slowly, the landscape below them began to change until finally, they had arrived at their destination. Eastwind Rest, the Horde outpost in Kun-Lai. However, they would be surprised to discover they prey had already passed by.

Taking what information they could gather, the ESO gathers whatever supplies they could and head into the direction they now believed the enemy was heading. As they continued along a path, leading them further into the unknown, they encounter a battle up ahead in the distance.

Deciding to take cover and wait out the conflict, the ESO watched as a small group of Alliance fell to their yaungol attackers. Who wasn't to say the Alliance wouldn't attack them as well?

Analyzing the area, Klien mapped out their plan of attack and soon, the ESO found themselves in conflict with the savage yaungol. With the might of these beasts nearly overwhelming them, the ESO would not suffer the same fate as their Alliance foes.

With a handful of minor injuries, the ESO presses on further - towards the mountainous regions of Kun-Lai.

    Asharri

    Nimraama
