Preparations
(Thursday, March 21st)

With many ESO members itching to join the fight out on the Isle of Thunder, they find themselves out in Krasarang Wilds once more aiding in the efforts there.

Charged with the guard and safe-escort of a supply caravan, Asharri assembles a team that will travel from Dawnchaster Retreat to Sparkrocket Outpost. A reliquary agent there would be awaiting them.

With the many dangers surrounding them, it was no surprise when the team was ambushed by a group of Alliance scouts; determined to destroy the supplies before they could make it to their destination.

A skilled party of five proved enough of a threat to give the ESO more than what they bargained for. After the close call, the ESO managed to take the ambush party down, with minimal damage inflicted upon them and the supplies.

Close enough to their destination, they were greeted wby their contact; followed closely behind by his help. Insisting that it the ESO had finished their end of the deal, the supplies were then taken by the agent in order to better supply the small base near Lion's Landing.

Participants:

Popping in here with just "bump" doesn't always sit well with me. So, have some stories. I will just go ahead and post from the past to the present.

Back in the Saddle

With a newly restored sense of purpose, Asharri Lakefire didn't have to think twice on whether or not she'd accept a leadership position within the Eversong Offensive. Never straying very far from it, getting back to her roots as a Farstrider was easy. It felt wonderful to pick up her bow again for the glory of her people.

There was one thing she was unsure of, however. And that one thing was the person she would be working with closely from here on out.

Ranger-Lord Blacksun was a complete !@#$%^- from the moment Asharri agreed to serve as his second-in-command. She was use to working under near impossible leadership, but it didn't sit well with her that with the position she had been given, he had treated her with disrespect and not at all like a peer. There was a stick up his *!@ as far as Klien Blacksun was concerned and Asharri was determined to see it removed one way or the other.

Sitting within the office that was shared between the two, Asharri was grateful that he was not around. At least she could concentrate on the new recruit paperwork in peace. Today she needed to fit each recruit into a unit matching their respective skill sets, but it was near impossible without the proper information documented. Because of this, she had to make it a point to meet with each recruit face to face in order to gain a better perspective. It wouldn't do a damn bit of good assigning someone who fainted at the sight of blood to take on the role of a medic.

Taking out a quill and a blank sheet of parchment, Asharri began to jot down some notes she would pass along to the Ranger-Lord. The notes highlighted the need for additional information documented within the new-recruits' files from here on out. She intended to point out that it wasted a great deal of time meeting with each person twice just to get them placed into a proper unit within the ESO.

Finishing the note, Asharri sat her quill aside and just stared at what she had just written. Who was she kidding? Like he'd even read it. He'd probably just tell her that she was wasting everyone's time even mentioning it.

Deciding that she'd just ball it up and toss it into the trash bin, Asharri heard a knock at the door. Pulling herself away from her desk, she made her way to greet the unexpected visitor and opened the door.

"Hey Ash, are you busy?" Laiyla Glorystar greeted her friend with a cheerful smile; bouncing slightly on the tips of her toes. The fiery-haired paladin seemed quite upbeat for a reason unknown to Ash, causing the Farstrider to stare at her with a puzzled expression.

If there was one thing about Laiyla, it was the fact that she was never the bouncy type of lady. Something had her smart-#$% friend quite joyful.

"I was just finishing up some paperwork," Asharri answered, opening the door a little wider to allow Laiyla into the room. Turning on her heel, she made her way back over to the desk, sat in her chair, and looked to Laiyla expectantly. "You look strange smiling like that, you know?"

With a chuckle, Laiyla closed the door and followed Asharri to her desk. Leaning against it, the paladin turned her back to her and eyed the open window across the way. "Yeah well, you don't smile anymore, so one has to between the two of us."

"Going to tell me what prompted you to stop by?" Asharri questioned, moving a hand to close one of the new recruit's files she had been going over not too long ago.

Not answering right away, Laiyla glanced over her shoulder and just smiled at Asharri. If there was one thing Laiyla knew, it was that Asharri hated it when anyone beat around the bush with what it was they had to say. Seeing the irritation building up in her friend's eyes, Laiyla stood up and turned around to face her.

"Meet me in Falconwing Square around dusk if you can," she answered. "I know you hate it when I don't fill in the gaps, but I promised someone I wouldn't tell you anymore information than that."

Blinking her eyes, Asharri stares at Laiyla in disbelief, "You can't be serious? What is going on?"

With a chuckle, Laiyla made her way back to the door and pulled it open. Looking back to Asharri, she just smiled, "That is for you to find out later. Wear something nice, alright?"

With a short growl under her breath, Asharri stood up quickly, "Dammit, Laiyla! Who the hell are you promising things about me to?"

Before anything could get thrown at her, Laiyla quickly retreated from the room and called over her shoulder with a chuckle, "Just shut up and do it. I'll see you at dusk!"

Asharri had refused to speak to Laiyla Glorystar since the night she attempted to set her up with someone; giving her friend a supply pick-up job for the ESO just so she could avoid her. The Ranger-Captain had bigger things to worry about than anything bordering along personal boundaries. Even though Laiyla truly believed she had Asharri's best interest at heart, she went about it in the most obnoxious of ways. With Laiyla gone for a few days tops, Asharri would be given the chance to get over it.

The afternoon sun beamed high up in the sky above Silvermoon City; basking the elven city in all of its glory with its radiant golden glow. The Farstriders' Square was quiet this afternoon, and Asharri decided she'd use this moment to gain some target practice more or less. After all, she did some of her best thinking whenever she trained.

Some nights before, Asharri had been approached by Reluma, a Magistrix of Silvermoon and in turn, given some information about Klien Blacksun that she did not quite like. Of course, Asharri had been quite angry that her position within the ESO was decorated nicely just to cover up the fact that she would be playing spy towards the Ranger-Lord. But she hid it quite well. If Klien was the traitor he was speculated to be, it was Asharri's duty to bring him to justice.

When Asharri was ordered to keep the task she had been given a secret, she didn't think too much about it until she encountered the Magistrix again shortly after. This time, she was in the company of her friend and assistant, Aaden Sunswift and the ESO's newest recruit, Tyrelios Blazedawn.

Asharri would have thought the Magistrix would have seen her coming before the conversation between the trio had reached her ears. Now, only confused, she overhead the same speculation being dropped onto both men's plates. If anything, maybe the Magistrix wanted eyes and ears opened at all angles within the ESO. Which would make some sense, but it would only prove to make Asharri's true task a little more difficult.

When both men finally approached Asharri separately about their concerns in regards to Klien, Asharri could only assure the two that she had it under control and that was all she'd tell them. A measure of good faith was hard to come by these days, but the Farstrider requested it.

Now under the impression that the two would report any information they encountered to her, Asharri could only do her best to ease up a little and focus on her other tasks as well. If she was to keep up appearances under strict orders, then so it would be. But it wasn't truly difficult to do, Asharri had finally been pushed into a position of authority that she felt she deserved much sooner than this. She'd do her best to help lead the ESO to victorious outcomes wherever they were needed and protect them from the possibility that Klien was up to no good.

... I am not interested in moving guilds---

---but I know two blood elves, possible three ((alt toons)) that are looking for an interesting place to reside.

That being said, should they look in the 'guild directory'? or ask for someone specific when online? And if it is ask for someone specific who would they ask for? Or should they just correspond going the mail route?

You can speak to myself or Klien. There is tons of information to be found on our guild homepage and an application process at: eso.shivtr.com - Hope this helps!

In the Midst
(Wednesday, March 27th)

Under orders to continue their duty in Krasarang Wilds in search of an Alliance force known as the Red Knights, the ESO receives word that a Horde scouting party has been missing for a little over a week now. An Alliance encampment was believed to have been in the path where the scouts had gone missing, or very close nearby. There are also mogu ruins in close proximity as well - noted for its dark presence and continued threat.

Captain Lakefire assembles a team to investigate.

As their search begins, the ESO seems pulled closer to the mogu ruins; a heavy energy clung to the air had aroused much in the way of curiosity. The ruins seemed almost deserted if it weren't for the energy intensifying within the region and pulling the ESO closer for answers.

After following a set of crumbling stairs downward, and rounding a few corners - the ESO happens upon a gruesome sight. Several Horde and Alliance bodies lie piled around an eerie statue. Around that, several mogu stood. With a few heavily involved in some sort of ritual around the statue and two guards patrolling nearby, the ESO had little time before these enemies were altered of their presence.

As if the ruins themselves were against the team, a falling piece of stone from a nearby wall had alerted the mogu immediately. Thrown into battle against these enormous foes, the ESO stopped at nothing to extinguish the threat and the ritual taking place.

At the conclusion of the battle, an orb marked with strange runes had fallen from the hand of a defeated mogu ritualist. Unsure of its precise nature, Captain Lakefire deemed it necessary to take the orb for further study - entrusting Sennddraeda Suntreader and Shaysha Varanii with the task.

Demising her team back to Silvermoon, Asharri returned to Domination Point with the news of scouts' fate.

This guild sounds like a lot of fun! I renewed my subscription yesterday and am going to be transferring to WrA sometime in the next day or so. Once I figure out my background and such, I will definitely put in an application!
