Depends on the player.

If it's a good monk tank, yes. If his thumbs up his !@#, then I'm sitting there spamming big heals and watching his health go into negatives. Bad monks take more damage than a ret pally tank.

Monk tanks come in two flavors:

1) Rock Solid, omg, I have no Rapture returns because he is taking no damage

and

2) holy hell my mana where did it go I'm spamming flash heal but it isn't working ahhhh

It's kind of like DK tanking back in Wrath.

Good monk tanks make me feel like my mana bar actually exists. Not a fun feeling in heroics.

Would anyone care to group with me in H and tell me if I'm good or not?

If I had room on my RealID/Battletag, I'd be happy to. But I'm perpetually full. -_-

The answer varies on whether if they can eat healing spheres or not.

Silly, Practical. It's the healer's job to heal the tank. :-P

Yeah, no one who isn't a healer should have to worry about any health bar that doesn't belong to the boss. Duh.

Guard? Elusive brew? Shuffle? What's that? Oh, that's the healer's job to keep me alive.

I manually place spheres next to the tank so all he or she has to do is go to the right to consume them.

Do you ever feel like shooting puppies when the tank is just like, "LALALALALALA...WAT R THESE SILLY GREEN SPHERES?"

I think our monk tank is great. I have healed one in heroics though that drained my mana faster than I could blink.

A Monk Tank in LFR had less HP than my Holy Pally.
We finally dedicated 2 Holy Pallies to heal him to get through Terrace.

Good Monk Tanks are awesome.
Ones that do not play well are annoying to heal if you are geared.
For my barely geared to heal Heroics Tauren Pally they are going to die a few times.

I've had DK Tanks that never used Bone Armor and bad Monk Tanks are harder to heal than a bad DK Tank.
