I'm about to transfer here, give me 5 reasons not to.
I was going to just list 5 bad players, but there aren't 5 players left on the server.
Umm.. let's see... if you avoid "FìGHT CLùß" and "Most Hated" (trash guilds, imho) like the plague; you'll probably like it just fine. Been here 3+yrs and wouldn't ever want to be anywhere else :)

I didn't get flamed within 10 minutes of making a new thread.
That was unexpected... I like this server. |

I didn't get flamed within 10 minutes of making a new thread. :) I knew something was 'off' with my 1st reply... forgot about Resolve; avoid them too. Also, want to add Brick Squad (as in also to avoid). That's it; I promise. I swear :) /waves hello |

Been here 3+yrs and wouldn't ever want to be anywhere else :) That makes me feel bad for you :( The server is as dead as they come. |
Why would anyone feel bad for someone, when that someone (--> 'me' <--) is perfectly happy? It's really not even close to being dead. Or, it's not when I'm on anyways. With my alch prof, I've helped 2 people this eveing :) |

If you want your server to be like a small town, this is it. I think what bothers me the most is the economy. The economy is small. If you're leveling a profession, you'll have to farm the mats yourself, most likely, or be patient and wait for things to be posted. And you'll have to look for a while before you find an enchanter or whatever in trade. On the other hand, if you like being the big fish in small pond, you can dominate markets with ease. And you can get great bargains on the black market because there's so little competition. But don't expect to gold cap easily. We simply have less gold here. And while you'll probably have an easier time finding ore, herbs, pandaren treasure, etc. Galleon is hardly seen by alliance since we are horde dominated. Raid progress is, um... not that great. Since there are only a few guilds raiding right now, opportunities to pug are few and far between. Although, if you are quality raid material, you will get multiple offers from teams that are raiding. World pvp doesn't take place at any scale. Besides raids on capitals, the most you'll see is groups fewer than 10. If you want to go take over Krasarang, you can, without any help! And, as you can see, the forums are slow. I've also been here 3 years and I'm pretty happy with Maiev. But my guild is what I really like about it. |

Oh, hello there! /waves back I think I ran right past'ya a short while ago!
Very true. Just tonight I had to give up (in any place I went to) in Pandaria. 3 tracker hordes went where ever I went (almost like they had a radar or something). The moment I landed and tried to start other quests, boom - they were there; destroyed me in seconds (this went on for about over an hour) :/ So, I gave up for the night and que'd some dungeons. Well, there's always tomorrow.. :) /waves bye |
I prefer tight knit communities tbh. It's pretty nice to recognize the names of people you're playing with / run into.
I'm not sure how I feel about the Horde dominance, i've always been on the dominating faction of a server, except for once, but I was fairly inactive. I've noticed the speed of the forum, and I thought my old server's forums were slow. But that's no big deal, easier for me to flood the forum with pointless threads. I look forward to my transfer, I have good feels to feel. |

So, have'ya made that 'switch' yet? If I ever see'ya around, your name's an interesting 1 enough to remember; I'll make sure to /wave and say "Hi!" if I ever see ya around. Oh, if you need some potions/elixirs, or even a transmute and you see me around, ask me I'll try and help at least get'ya started a little, at no cost! :D I enjoy helping people with my profs, if/when I can :) See you around good neighbor!

The switch is done, but my name changed as well :PAh, O.k., kind'a seems to suit your character more. I see you joined the (ahem*/cough*) dreaded Brick Squad :P Watch out, they're a lively bunch; and, usually not in a very positive way. (Most) of them, but by no means all; I have run into a few nice people in that guild...a very 'few'. Enough about that though (that's just my personal feelings though); welcome to Maiev!!! See'ya around :D /wave /hello |

I was told being in this guild would put me on people's KoS list.Tbh, I have absolutely no idea what a Kos list is. I'm in my own (solo/main/alt) guild. I googled it, but it gave me nothing. But, if you're happy there, great! Like I mentioned there are a few (few) nice people in it; I have helped (those) few people before. It's just that some of the attitudes from most in it, are (to me) quite horrible. Some people on said guild I actually had to have put on my ignore list, as some of it became harrassment. But, anyways, that's why I feel the way I do. But, I can only say what I know. But, hope you find what you're needing/wanting from it. :) *well, got to get back to fishing while I'm omw to Halfhill, I think it is. See'ya! :) |
