She began to walk towards the laboring workers at the end of the pier and slowed. Not twenty paces away sat a gnome casting a fishing line into the shallow waters under the dock. Noikona quickly looked for another route but dockworkers were busily unloading cargo to the other side. Biting her lip she took a step forward and thought as she closed the distance, "Maybe it was time she turned over a new leaf. Maybe it was time to show some tolerance".
Her eyes closed and her mouth clenched as she started to pass the oblivious gnome. Noikona paused looking down at the gnome, shaking her head, and without thinking, pushed the gnome. She smiled with satisfaction at the squeal and accompanying splash. She reached down and grasped a basket full of freshly caught fish and quickened her pace to the city. "Tomorrow" she thought. "There is always tomorrow".
