Thinking of Rolling Healer, Shaman vs Druid?

86 Draenei Mage
I have plenty of experience healing heroics in past with my Resto shaman and holy pally, but currently have no experience healing this Expansion.

How are Resto Shamans compared to Resto Druids as far as heroic raiding goes? Considering both classes are played really well, which one is gonna bring more to a raid that has a Holy Pally and a Disc Priest already.

Definitely go Druid. I'm a resto shammy and I feel like we are incredibly under powered right now.

If your co-healers are a Disc and Holy Paladin I would go Shaman personally. Both Shamans and druids are viable but I feel that shaman bring more to the table. In the end though do what you enjoy, what may be relevant information today may be entirely different to the next hotfix or patch.

I'd say Shamans and Druids are diametrically opposed healing styles. Flavor would be the first thing I'd be concerned with.

But Resto Shamans have been equipped with quite a battery of healing cooldowns, which may have displaced Tranquility from its pedestal.

As, I believe, Kaels has said many times before, it's also worth considering if you don't mind playing as either a Boomkin or an Ele Shaman, or whatever, if you ever need to swing.

Personally, I've thoroughly enjoyed Shaman on every level this expansion. Druids have cooler talents in my opinion, though.

Druid. Shaman are perfectly fine in 10 man, don't get me wrong, but a druid would definitely fill the gap left by a paladin/disc priest best.

+ Boomkin > Ele
