Patch Notes, Arms, Jan 30

90 Human Warrior

-Glyph of Overpower now increases the duration of Die by the Sword by 1-second each time Overpower is used.
-Slam now deals 220% weapon damage, down from 190% and had its cost reduced to 20 rage (was 30).
-Sudden Death now has a 25% chance to activate from Overpower instead of a 20% chance from auto attacks. In addition, using Execute makes Overpower free for 10-seconds.



Anyone have a chance to test this out yet? How does it make the Arms Rotation feel?

Also,
Deadly Calm has been removed from the game.

Nice thing is glyph of OP also works with Wildstrike for fury, when DbtS is up you will be prioritizing Bs procs over RB.

Edit: Hmm atleast it showed it was going to work with fury as well, Maybe they removed it from Ws? if so then o well it won't matter too much.

It's supposed to make it easier to predict with Overpower.

Unless the character in front of you is dodging, it means virtually less Colossus Smash uptime. Plus being tied to Overpower costing rage, it's a massive DPS loss. Just like Arms needed that, they are at the lowest part of the DPS charts right now.

We are making some additional changes. The ones below are mostly for PvP purposes and were based on a lot of PTR feedback, much of it from high-end PvP players. Until 5.2 goes live, these are not set in stone.

Warrior
- Second Wind - we are reverting the nerf to the heal not working while stunned. We think we have nerfed Arms enough for PvP reasons in 5.2.

As of yesterday afternoon, MS was still proccing only 1 stack of TFB, and as far as I can tell the patch notes haven't changed to say this is intended. Hard to get a feel for the rotation when you literally have a second low rage cost attack that you don't get to use.

Looks like warriors are still coming out on top of the food chain. Not that we were ever not. Its still a lot about skill with warriors. Not quite as much as the stance dancing days but a fair bit of skill is required none the less.
