Do you have any unquestionable reason why a resto shaman deserves a spirit trinket over a Ret pally?
Absolutely. A Spirit trinket does nothing for a Ret paladin. It doesn't even provide him with Hit. And the Intellect on the trinket (as they all have Intellect on them, too) similarly does nothing for a Ret Paladin.
However, a Spirit trinket provides both extra Spellpower (through the native or procced intellect on the trinket) and extra mana regen (through the Spirit) for the Shaman. If the trinket has native
Spirit on it, as is the case with the Empty Fruit Barrel, it provides a boost to the Shaman's Mana Tide Totem, as well.
So you can only play for another month? Even more reason for the Ret to get it. Also, the raiding guilds 1) don't have infinite time to play, everyone has to live believe it or not, and 2) the raiding guilds will actually get more use out of it than they do.
I disagree with this. Just because someone is in a raiding guild doesn't give them [i[carte blanche[/i] to roll Need on items that their spec/role in the dungeon can't use. Saying "they'll get more use out of it" is an oxymoron. There are far better trinkets they'll have access to that your casual player may never see.
I'm starting do wonder if you were mean to him at this point....Just because someone shoots my mother with a gun doesn't mean i can grab a gun and go kill everyone's mothers. That is, like others have said, stooping extremely EXTREMELY low.
It is low, but the guy is upset. Should give him the benefit of the doubt. I've said similar things before, in the heat of the moment. Sadly, I'm a pushover and wouldn't actually do it.
Do I sympathize with you? Yes. Do I think you should have won that roll? Depends on what else happened. Do i think you should have came here, whined, whined more, then get extremely idiotic and decide to go do it to other random people? Hell no.
PS) did not mean for this post to sound like im such a smart !@#, but really man...calm down.
I don't think most of your post is helpful, and it comes across as rather condescending at points.
