Chapel - Satan's Rock 'n' Roll or Godspeed You! Black Emperor - 'Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend!

2011 was a better year for music overall, IMO. 2013 seems to be shaping up to be better as well.

Tie between Die Holle Muss Warten by Eisbrecher and Fragmente by L'ame Immortelle.

Both were god damn brilliant albums and some of the best work for either act. Many in NA might not know em but they're pretty big deals in EU.
