The Horde came in numbers that are only heard of in lively servers (or that of murlocs...) to defend their shrine from a measly Alliance hunter. They chased this hunter half way to Seven Stars and back, brutally ripping him limb from limb as he corpse hopped. He was soon accompanied by a Shaman, who was also ripped apart by the mass that was the Horde. However, the signal had gone out and the Alliance were called in number. Albeit, slowly at first.
The handful of Alliance were no match for the numbers of the horde. (Which is really weird cause we out number you like 10:1...) The Alliance group soon became equal to that of the Horde's. It was then, that the group of Alliance coordinated their attack by rezing all at the same time. They were finally able to push the Horde back into their city. Being greedy, they rushed into the shrine only to be decimated by the zerg swarm of guards. (Don't know what a zerg swarm is? Look it up.)
The siege on the city lasted only a few hours but they were a bloody few. Many a HK was farmed this day. I just wanted to thank both the Horde and the Alliance for your valiant efforts at and between Shrine of Two Moons today. In particular, Darkitty for initiating the first blow.
Looking forward to the weeks ahead of us.
PS. MVP goes to the guards. They are more faceroll than a frost dk.
