Why is it that they have so many abilities that are so similar yet monks are better. Leg sweep and Remorseless winter have the exact same function, one just has an easily avoidable ramp up that makes it your own fault if it should actually connect (yet both have the exact same CD). One of the DK's signiture defensive abilities has always been AMS but monks get the exact same thing with the exact same CD (except monks do a dmg reflect, have higher mitigation and are not limited by max HP of the caster). Overall, DKs and Monks both do great damage in pvp but in terms of defense and CC the only thing DKs have on monks is deathgrip (which to be honest, I wouldnt be suprised to see monk's get that too, except with some added benefits that make it superior as well). Once people actually figure out how to play WW (especially with the massive impending buffs), my money is on Monk for being the 5.2 FotM.
Remorseless Winter is also and AoE slow, 8 yards instead of melee, and has a 6 second stun, not 5 seconds. Not saying Leg Sweep isn't really strong, but they are far from the same ability.
AMS is on a 45 sec CD, and prevents the application of magic. Diffuse Magic is on double the CD and doesn't prevent the application of magic.
If you are going to complain, do so intelligently.
Although Diffuse magic isn't limited to 50% of the monk's HP. In other words, they're both have the same niche (spell defense), but differs in advantages and disadvantages. To compare them is.... foolhardy.
