I am a 69-year-old woman who is playing my first warrior and I am doing a lousy job of it. Can someone help me improve?

I also need a guild in which people would be patient with me and help me get improved armor and skills. (I have not done a dungeon since I was a very low level, so I fear I would be a great hindrance to a group.)
