Retribution
Seal of Justice now causes melee attacks to do 20% (was 16%) more holy damage.
The 2-piece PvP set bonus now provides 1000 PVP Power (was 800).
The 4-piece PvP set bonus redesigned and now reduced Avenging Wrath's cooldown by 65 seconds.

Nice buff, very happy about all of these changes.
Would've liked 24% or so damage on justice to make it comparable to truth, but 4% increase is huge.

I wonder why 65s off AW's CD rather than just 60.

Maybe they copied the code from the PVE bonus? Or maybe MMOChamp copied something. 65sec is still weird.

Well, I'm still wondering why the PvE bonus is 65s, too.

Sometimes I think they just make the odd times to make sure our CDs dont all come back up at the same time and make it a pain for us to macro things lol.

Anyone out there willing to take a guess as to how comparable the damage of SoJ is going to be to truth? I want some Theck info on this lol.

I was doing some number comparisons between Seal of Truth and Seal of Justice on live.

Methods

I used the same rotation on both tests with no CDs. I ran the test on a dummy for about 6 minutes.

Results

Test 1: Seal of Truth (362.3 second test duration)
Censure Damage - 1,651,783 (with 135 hits)
SoT Damage - 1,352,241 (with 294 hits)
Total Damage - 3,004,024

Test 2: Seal of Justice (359.6 second test duration)
SoJ Damage (Live) - 1,406,657 (with 237 hits)
SoJ Damage (After proposed 25% Buff) - 1,406,657 x 1.25 = 1,758,321

Damage discrepancy on live (SoT : SoJ)
(3,004,024/1,406,657) = 2.14 : 1

Damage discrepancy after buff (SoT : SoJ)
(3,004,024/1,758,321) x 100 = 1.71 : 1

Conclusions
The hit discrepancies between SoT and SoJ are due to the fact that Judgment procs SoT but not SoJ. This means that within a given time period, seal damage (not even including censure) for both seals is almost equal.

On live, Seal of Truth / Censure deal over 2x more damage than Seal of Justice when hitting a test dummy. In PvP, the damage gap between these two seals widens even more.

For Seal of Justice to gain viability in arena/RBGs its damage (from live) should increase approximately 2/3 (from 16% to about 25%-28% weapon damage). This change would narrow the damage gap between the two seals while allowing SoT/Censure to still deal about 28-35% more damage than SoJ, creating a fair trade-off for the snare that SoJ provides.

SoT would still deal roughly 71% more damage than SoJ. Realistic speaking is actually much more - considering that SoJ only procs from melee damage, while you can keep stacking Censure and doing SoT' initial damage with Judgment.

I believe its -65secs(aw 4pc bonus) due to the 18 second HA duration and 20 seconds wings. They will each be on a 2minute cd but HA goes on cd 2 secs sooner than AW plus the 2x1.5gcd equaling to 5 secs(or is it just 3.5?). So they should be able to be stacked everytime, with wings for the entire HA duration if wanted.
Start cast at 0
use AW(20seconds)
1.5gcd(18.5second of AW left)
use HA(18sec duration with 18.5 secs of AW remaining)
.5 secs difference from when both effects end and the cds begin.
Its not a perfect theory but with latency in mind it is just about perfect.
This is just for HA, with the other tier options the extra -5 seconds is just icing.

The CD starts when it's activated, not when it ends.

No, after that paragraph, GC says that they will keep the 4pc pvp set bonus as it is live now.

but isnt soj used more to slow ur target down? while sot is dots, soj has a slowing ability which can be utilize to control target while sot is to burst them down. but of course we all know that, im just saying that soj is weaker because its a form of cc.

they buffed the damage of SoJ to make seal swapping more attractive and less of a dps loss.
Pity they didn't just remove it from GCD as well.

Pretty much dead on.

Seal Swapping or what I call Seal Dancing(apply named after stance dancing) should have some viability, like switching to seal of insight when being trained or seal of Justice when you need to kite or prevent being kited etc.
