The best experience I have had with a casual guild was horde side in Anam Cara. They aren't a raiding guild, but they do attempt it for those interested. All around, great people who are willing to hang. Lots of people online even during non-peek hours. Make an alt and stop in to say hi. Darkterror is good people, don't listen to what other people say about him.

Honestly, I have raided with Requiem of Hyrule, and they are a good guild to raid with if you ever want to on Horde side. Never raided with Anam Cara, but one of my IRL friends use to back in Cata, and he enjoyed it also. Try either of those guilds if you wanna faction change to raid. No idea on Alliance, it has been pretty quiet over on that side from what I know(but only online on weekends do that :P). Either way, I think you should maybe look up the raiding progression with guilds on Ysera and see what the decision may be for you, whether you wanna switch to Horde to raid or stay Alliance and find that raid. Good luck! (:

If you transfer to Horde, the Overlords is another good casual / social guild.
