No it's not. Shield Wall doesn't reduce the damage we deal. And you don't even address the biggest issues with IBF. The biggest issue is its cost. It's far too easy to stun us right out of the gate and train us. The cost needs to be removed entirely.

Secondly, while we're talking about warriors, Arms and Fury get a second damage reduction: Die by the Sword. Warriors have methods of physical damage reduction, DK's have one.

Third, you're completely ignoring the fact that Blood already has a 50% damage reduction with Sanguine Fortitude. Blood would take an unnecessary hit to its damage if they do it your way.

As things stand now, IBF is ONLY good for its stun immunity. 20% on a 3 min cooldown is downright pathetic as is, never mind the cost. There either needs to be a massive cooldown reduction, or a small cooldown reduction coupled with a small increase in the reduction.

Especially seeing as it's for only 12 seconds. I'd understand the 3 min cd if it was for 30-40 seconds.

Doubt they'd do it unless they revamped the glyph. when people even complain about the cooldown. You can glyph to half it just it's duration is less. apples to oranges. I do think that IBF and Raise Ally should have their cost removed though.

p.s.

you can make the argument how the IBF glyph is bad but it does exist. If you hate the 3 minutes you can always make it 90 seconds.

Keep in mind that any change you make for pvp will also be present in pve. That is why boneshield didn't become baseline- it would be too strong for pve. I do think the cost of IBF should be removed for all specs though. Adding a damage component to IBF would give pve dps another offensive cooldown that they don't need.

DKs are expected to spend a good portion of their pvp time in blood presence. That's why they are doing te same health % on presence swap. Like it or not, that is their answer.
