Home for Semi-Retired Raiders M/W/Th PST

Have you been playing Warcraft so long that you used to be in college and now you have kids? Did you love downing hard-modes but now you don't have the time and you'd like to see the content without being subjected to LFR? Would you like to raid with a fun group of folks on a very light schedule? Are you an awesome DPS that can hold your own against some excellent players? Can you raid from 6:30-8:30 PST on two of: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday?

Then Business Time is the guild for you! We consider ourselves a "home for semi-retired raiders." At just four hours per week, our schedule is very light and we're okay with that. Unlike many other casual guilds, we have a hardcore background. During our nearly four years as a guild we have gone from raiding four nights per week (12 hours) gradually to our current schedule. We raided strict tens throughout Wrath and achieved Bane of the Fallen King among other accolades. What we have retained from that time is a crew of people who like to excel but aren't overly concerned with hard-modes. Our raiding is a social activity, but that doesn't mean we slack off. The reason we have so much fun is that we won't compensate for folks who struggle with fire or movement. Our primary goal now is fun instead of progression, but wiping to the same thing twenty times isn't fun for us.

Our expansive and socialist guild bank provides:

*Flasks
*Potions
*Feasts
*Enchants/Enchant materials including leg/belt enchants
*Gems (both raw and cut)
*Repair costs

Our demographic is primarily late 20s through 30s. We are lawyers and techies, businessmen, firemen and artists. We are a laid-back group with a penchant for puns (okay, maybe that's just me) and a good sense of humour. We're looking for a great DPS of any spec or class. We don't have a hunter so that would be a great fit, but we also have room for a plate-wearing DPS or other ranged DPS. We care more about whether you are a good fit socially than what colour your DPS bar is. Unless it's purple, but we already have a warlock for me to verbally abuse, so you're in the clear!

We'd like:
-An awesome ranged or melee DPS player, interested in long walks through Heart of Fear trying to top mage DPS
-Someone who is self-motivated and will read strats and maximize their gear
-Must have a strong aversion to fire or other substances damaging to one's person (acid, ice, slime et al)

We raid (2) of Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 6:30-8:30 PST. This is determined each week based on sign-ups, so some weeks we might raid Monday/Wednesday and others Monday/Thursday. Very rarely we will raid Wednesday/Thursday. We keep a small bench to cover for people who are unavailable, but generally you will be able to raid both of those nights with occasional sitting. You can read more about us at businesstimeguild.com or direct any questions to Battle Tag: Vidyala#1342. If you'd like to make an alt on Moonrunner US to speak with us, look for Millya, Vosskah, Shaen or Zhem. Thanks for your interest and best of luck in your guild search!

These are some great people to raid with. If I wasn't contractually obligated to raid for Waypoint, I'd be here.

*looks at contract*

THIS IS A EXPIRED McDONALD'S GIFT CERTIFICATE!

Anyhow, they really are a fine bunch to raid with. A+++ would raid again.

Raid WITH. WITH.

I spent the better part of last year running raids with Business Time recreationally, and can vouch pretty earnestly for their dedication towards high levels of play, their relaxed demeanor, and the focus that lets them shift between the two without losing a step in their raid progress.

The team of raiders they field are talented, educated, and willing and eager to share what they know - this is a team of folks who care, about the game, about what they're doing, and about making each other better.

I cannot recommend Business Time enough to a player looking for an inviting, engaging group of folks, to a player eager and willing to chase challenges and opportunities within World of Warcraft.

I think he still thinks he's a belf for some reason. He only joined us last July, give him a chance to adjust! Pallies are not that swift. :)

This is the kind of dazzling repartee you can expect to enjoy on a daily basis as part of BT. (I swear, I intend for this to be a selling point.)

I like paladins just fine, right behind my shield as I tank Algalon. /flex

Warriors were used to tank him originally, too, I seem to remember they were best for it. I can't recall how paladins fared when it was current. Maybe it's just that we didn't have a paladin tank at that time. :D

Actually, we did have a pally tank then. Our first Algalon kill was done with Noodle and I tanking it. It's been a long long while.

Paladins were crazy OP during Ulduar once Ardent Defender got it's god-like redesign.
