I don't know if I'd call it fishing. True, the original question was not addressed right away but I probably would have offered the same advice that you can have multiple World of Warcraft licenses on a single Battle.net account. As many folks do not know that.

Also, I probably would have made sure that they understood that you did not need to maintain both subscriptions simply because they were on that one Battle.net account.

After that clarification I would have stressed that they should not have access to an account that is not registered to them as well. Noting that the trade, sale or gifting of characters is prohibited by our Terms of Use.

Lirral, as the others mentioned you can remove the Authenticator on one account and in most cases you should be able to reuse it on a different account.
