Cursor disappearing

So when I have WOW open on my mac and I tab out by using F3 to go to the internet or iTunes when i tab back to WOW my mouse cursor is gone. I can sometimes make my cursor come back my walking but i do have to force close WOW on occasion. Now this doesn't happen every time I tab out of WOW but it happens at least once a day. I use a Razor Naga mouse which i doubt is the problem because it is new and i had the same issue with my last mouse. My cursor is only "invisible" in game.

Can you post some system specs, so we can check this out?

    1. Launch World of Warcraft and log in.
    2. Put World of Warcraft into Windowed Mode if it is not already in Windowed Mode.
    3. From the system menu bar, select Help > Copy Support Information: http://i45.tinypic.com/foodww.png
    4. Paste the contents of the copied system information here (Command-V)

I have the same issue. When you tab back to WoW, or click on the WoW window to toggle back to the game, it's like the cursor turns invisible because the pointer "hand" isn't properly refreshed. It's there, but you can't see it. This seems to happen most often when I tab out to look something up on wowhead, etc. (using Safari to browse web) then toggle back into WoW. I don't recall having this problem before 5.2, but like the op said, it happens now on a daily basis.

I am currently having the same problem. However I never leave the game using command+tab. It happens to me after cinema. Kind of annoying because in order to get the cursor to come back I have to put it in to windowed mode and then back into full screen mode. Nothing else seems to help me. I would love a patch update to fix this problem.

Same thing happening here to. I play Windowed(fullscreen). Happens when i click to my 2nd monitor for another app, the cursor disappears when i click back into WoW. Can happen once, not at all or multiple times a day. Only way i get it back is to erratically move my mouse from side to side for a few seconds lol.

On a related issue, the cursor will sometimes become unresponsive to buttons or tooltips on the WoW screen after the same app switching maneuvers. It is fixable though by clicking back out of WoW and back in.

Similar issue, but I am not tabbing. Cursor just randomly goes away.

Same issue. Parking the screen in my toolbar (yellow - button) then pulling it back fixes it.

I've found that a /console reloadui usually works for me. Since I regularly change my focus to click on a window on my second monitor.

I also applied some terminal changes shown here for Starcraft2 (just change starcraft2 to worldofwarcraft)
https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/cursor-disappears-in-starcraft-ii-mac
Didn't seem to make a difference, though.

Not going to post my system config, because it seems universal enough so I won't make my post unnecessarily long.

Little help, Blizz?

I am still getting the error at login.. But atleast I fixed my cursor problem.

If anyone was missing their cursor at any point. You can only fix it in game. I went to ingame MENU>System>Advanced There is a box you can disable Hardware cursor. Do so, helped me hope it fixes your cursor problem too.

My problem was an invisible cursor aswell, it was on the screen stuck. But the invisible cursor let me click things if I managed to find it on the screen when something highlights.

Disabled the hardware cursor and its fine without playing WINDOWED :)

ciao
