Holy is good but known as one of the harder classses/specs to master. I can't speak for disc. Some say it's great some say it's been butchered. You know people though, they can't handle change.
holy is NOT one of the harder specs to play lol >< Now that holy has the 30% focused will it's extremely easy. You have a lot of instant cast heals like a resto druid so don't have to worry about getting interrupted much(just the millions of silences/stuns lawl)
But anyway asking what's the best pvp healer is a broad question. I think for RBGs all 5 classes will be solid. For arenas resto shamans and pallies were best last season. Shamans didn't see any changes, holy pallies got slightly nerfed. MW monks, resto druids, and priests all got buffed so hard to tell which will be best until arenas open up.
I'm loving the 5.2 disc. Our shields got huge buffs. Undispellable now and crit shields are huge. I'm having to prep targets for damage more now which I think is the right direction for disc. In 5.1 I would burst heal a target with penance, PoM, PW:S, IF, FH. Now since crit only effect shields I'm prepping targets with the same sequence.
Also holy fire being baseline insta cast is nice and fun. Along with that and our dps getting buffed I actually feel like I can add something when an enemy target is near death and needs that extra push.
The fade nerf isn't bothering me like I thought it would.
