The four years I was in was a giant headache, let alone 22. Too many stupid people for my tastes. Grats on that retirement!

When I 6 years old; many years ago, I decided that I wanted to be uniformed services. It was from that point on, I focused everything I could do to obtain that goal. I wanted to go either 82nd or 101st and them maybe progress into specialized. That goal was killed when I was 17 when I had a seizure at school...from then on out the military refused my applications. I was the first member in my familys history never to serve.

Instead, I went a differnt route and have been doing this grind for over 15 years. Started off working for Savannah; that was on par with Washington DC in terms of violence. It was fun, every waking moment while on duty, its was a new expirence. The kids came and I had to retreat to better schools and environment for them.

I now work for one of the largest countys in Georgia that at the time of my joining was considered the best in the state.

Getting close to 50, still ride the Crown Vic and wear the uniform...have been asked to go to CIU...but I dont want to go behind the lines. Like being out in front and leading the way, in a limited manner.

Long story short, I am County Police, but by far the most important job that I have is being a father to my two kids...damn little bloodsuckers; and they take after their evil !@# mother.

Me, I am ten years from retirement. Like my job too much to bring it up online.

once a stripper, always a stripper, i say! ;)

I've a friend who plays a druid who was a stripper, but he is married now and a lawyer. Trying to hide his past ...

I was never buff enough for that.

.////////////////////////.

That said, let me add my appreciation for those who have served in the military. Especially the medics.

Currently, IT Manager and sole support for a medical practice. Which explains about half of my bipolar mood swings.

The other half is just built-in and generally unavoidable.

- Full time graphic designer for last 4 years.
- After hours- Professional-emerging-artist (this is the term still used by most galleries, a few just
call me professional now)
- Tattoo artist when I can find the space to work. I was trained by a professional artist that was
trying to lure me while I was completing University.

That being said I have spent to much time in school: BAA (Visual Communications) and BFA-Studio Art. A masters and PHD (they exist now) would be nice....when I can swing the cash for it.

Other that than that about 8 years in oilfield construction/maintenance with a year of inspections also.
