Well. Quite possibly an incentive to play every race.
Give the races each a unique class that they're known for.
For example: Spiritwalkers for Tauren (or something like that).
Spirit Champion for Orcs.
Tinkerers or Steam-Warrior for Gnomes.
Templar for humans (Possibly a DPS class who uses shields, I don't know, if someone thinks better, by all means).
Priestess/Priest (gotta go non-sexist here) of Elune.
Well. Ya get the point. Give each race something they would be known for as a class, to prevent outright homogenization.

Given the fact that Blizzard has set precedent for adding new character slots for new classes, when the number of classes exceeds the number of slots possible for a server, that would mean that everyone would need to get seven new character slots per realm. I don't think Blizzard is willing to do that.
What he said went riiight over your head, actually. Do you even RPG, bro?
Some of those classes exist in WoW itself.
