Good lord, lol. $bling$

Run some benchmarks and let us know what kind of fps you get in WoW. If that machine can't run 60fps on the Sha on ultra settings, nothing can. :D

Spending that much on a prebuilt name-brand computer is about as stupid as it gets. Especially given how fast the technology evolves. Plus, a lot of the companies will outright void your parts/labor warranty if you open the case to make any adjustments.

The individual parts may be name brand, but you are wasting your money when you could have built a comparable system yourself for less then half that price by using Amazon or Newegg.

Do you play other games aside from WoW? Just seems like general overkill to me. My system is two years old (Phenom 970, radeon 6870 (1gig), 8gigs ram, WD 4TB hard drive x2, asus board with tons of room for expansion if needed,in a Antec Dark fleet 85 full.....) , and I have absolutely no issues playing Mists at Ultra settings, even with tons of background apps going and running 3 monitors. Hell, even Crysis3 which is horribly optimized still, plays at the highest of settings without slowdown.

And I only paid $1300.....

Actually, it probably can't. It's a coding issue, and not one that can be resolved by throwing more powerful hardware at it.

People who have money don't care, so more power to them.

Pretty much this. I saw his set-up earlier, just shrugged and looked away. It's a great hardware set-up, don't get me wrong. But uhm...yeah...

I've seen benchmarks of Titan, but not of two Titans in SLI. lol. I'd probably do that if I had a really high powered job or won the lottery. Why not? We're geeks after all. I love hardware - it makes me happy. :D

If you had done the research, you could have built a comparable system for a LOT less on your own.

Building a computer is about as easy as building a lego model by following the directions.

Thus, /facepalm

(lol, you could have built a wicked system for 2k, and used the remaining money to buy the equivalent of 200 months of pre-paid WoW time :P )

Sheesh, if I had 6k to blow, it probably wouldn't be on computer equipment, especially since I don't have any computer upgrades planned until Steamroller comes out.

Yeah Mog same here - I'm going to drop the top Steamroller in my board whenever it comes out after Christmas. I came into pc building with AMD, and at this critical juncture in their history, I feel like standing by them. Hopefully Steamroller really gets them back in the game. I'm glad they're managing to execute some releases on time this year - Richland should build on Trinity's success, and Kabini and Temash look really promising.
