Echo of Elements procs?

Is there an addon that track Echo of Elements procs and tells you when they happen? Is something like that even possible since it just causes a second spell to be cast right after?

If it's a buff that you can see on you (in the upper right corner near the minimap) then most buff mods will track it easily if you enter it by spellID or name.
If it's only a combat log event and doesn't show up as any sort of a buff, then it's a little harder, but most popular buff mods will still able to do it though it'll require more setup for triggers. You'd look into WeakAuras or TellMeWhen first which both should have impressive list of triggers built in, and ability to add more.
If you need to figure out what happens when it procs and you don't have any sort of buff applied on you, do a snapshot of the combat log by typing
/combatlog
then once you're sure it happened/procced, type /combatlog again to stop it. You can find the log under WoW/Logs
Look up what even happens when it procs and then use that event as a trigger in your buff mod of choice.

Alright thanks a lot, i'll try this.

So far it looks like nothing happens in combat log. It just immediately casts another of the same spell.

Hmm can you post the blurb of the relevant log?
Are you sure the proc didn't happen before you started logging? I have no idea what kind of time span we're talking about between the proc and casting of the spell or if it's instant.

I don't know much about it but it seems like to me that it just casts the same spell twice with no warning.

Hmmmmm. There are differences though. I'm trying to reconstruct what happened. You cast one successfully, started a second cast but got a proc and then..it went off as instant instead?

Or you cast one successfully and proc immediately went off right away without you trying to start another cast?

http://www.wowpedia.org/CLEU helps break it down.

As soon as the spell hit it cast another immediately and did damage to the target. I might not have even linked the right spot, let me get another.

Here I cast lightning bolt, it hit, I started another right after, echo of elements procced and it did the instant bonus cast, then I stopped casting the second lightning bolt when I saw that.

Yeah that's perfect. Lemme see if there's anything different about that one other than the fact you had no spell_success before damage was applied. Sec..

Wow well this is a bit beyond me as I can't really find any difference that you can latch on to. I don't have a clue how you'd differentiate that as it looks just like regular damage hit to me and if it wasn't for a cast fail, I couldn't tell which wouldn't even happen if you kept casting. You'd just be missing a cast_success before the damage. Sorry, not sure how to help you with that or if you can actually watch for cast damage without cast success preceeding it without some serious custom scripting.

Wait and see if someone else has any better ideas.

I don't know about in game tracking but I'm fairly certain you can drill this down in World of Logs, not sure this would help you in what you are after but you could after raid at least get an idea. Also check Recount or Skada's graphing tools I thought that they also tracked it.
