Eternal Darkness is looking for a new home as the server we're currently on is kinda dead. We've had some attendance issues since January/February and don't get to raid on consistent basis. We are currently on the last boss of Heart of Fear doing a couple of nights of raiding per month.
The majority of our 10 man raid group are fed up and want a PVP server that we can do some RBGs and recruit for our raids.
What do you say about this server?
Do you guys get queue times?
World PVP ok?
Is it easy enough to pug?
If this server is indeed somewhere we end up, we will be looking for a tank, a dps, and a couple of healers to fill out our raid. We would be recruiting before we transfer so we have everything ready by the time we transfer instead of recruiting after we transfer.
Some of your questions have already been answered in the recent thread:http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/8197180352
We don't get server log in queue times.
World PvP is great. It is what has kept me here.
There are PUG raids fairly regularly, and you can usually fil slots with acceptable PUG players, but aim earlier in the week rather than later.
The Faction Ratio is 2:1 in favor of the alliance, which has caused the horde to more cooperative with each other. It also gives us a lot more targets to kill then they have. You can read the comments in the linked thread about the relative style and abilities of alliance vs horde PvP.
The Alliance side has a slight advantage currently in the raid platform because of the larger numbers. All in all it's a good server to play on as a Horde if you like to PvP as much as Raid. I started on PvE servers and only came to Korgath during Cata. Now I won't ever go back to sissified PvE realm'n, or a realm where the Horde outnumber the failliance. I like it this way. Makes us tougher and makes a simple boring exercise like 'dailies' a lot more interesting.
