I'm not making this thread to say anything horrid about Blizz but I am very upset at the situation and can't seem to break away from it. A month ago, after taxes had came in, i was finally able to get my own account! I was thrilled at being able to run with my mother in law, my husband, and my stepson all at once. I figured the mounts i had bought would have been the only one's taken but not the one's VIA achievement. I was on the phone with a blizz rep. that guided me through the whole process to make sure i did everything right! After the account was upgraded, and my toon was transferred the rep told me to wait an hour before logging on. I did exactly that, i had set my alarm and all. Logged on and saw ALL my mounts gone! All except my rusted proto drake, black war bear, albino drake, and my class mounts (warlock mounts). My husband and I agreed to wait til the weekend was over and give it 48 hours since thats how long it takes for the payment to process and everything to settle. Come monday afternoon, i log in still not Headless horseman mount. No flameward hippogryph, none of the mounts i had earned through achievement! I called in and asked and the gentleman was very rude and proceeded to tell us that I logged in too fast. I told him no sir i logged in after an hour! He then called us a liar and hung up on us! Furious we called back and once again we complained, they said that they take all mounts since they were bound to the account, which makes no since because the achievements were earned on my main char and my main char still kept the achievements. I understand the mounts i purchased through game would be taken but not the achievement mounts. Any advice or points of view would be great, I can't seem to stop from getting upset at the fact all my hard work has gone to waste.
First, try to calm down. Being upset is normal when something like this has happened, but it doesn't do you any good to be running on about it constantly. Put on some music, get a drink, and just chill out for a while.
Now that you have chilled out (or alternatively just continued reading, which is also acceptable), it looks to me like the handful of mounts you do have are achievement mounts, not including your class mounts. It might be the case that something is different about the mounts you do have and the ones that you don't, but I can't think of anything specific (other than the Headless Horseman mount not being rewarded from an achievement). Another possibility is that they simply had not finished giving you those mounts.
Are you certain that you are the only one who knows your account information, or that you are certain that anyone who did know the account information did not log in before the hour had passed? If the answers to both are yes, then perhaps you should make another call to ask why certain mounts were not added to your account. Importantly, you should not call to complain. No one on the other end of that phone wants to listen to someone tell them about how they think that someone else screwed up while blaming the entire department just because some mounts are missing, and no one wants to help that person either.
And if you feel it is necessary, you can report the representative that you spoke to who was rude to you. Unfortunately, I don't really know how to go about doing that and our wonderful resident MVP-type person who could tell you is no longer playing WoW.
I didn't think about the headless horseman mount was a drop you do have a point there, that didn't even cross my mind. It still leaves me wondering about the flameward hippogryph though, i should have alteast kept that one and to answer your questions about the account. Yes my family knew about the email and password but noone logged in during that hour. I guess I'll call blizz and ask about the flameward hippogryph atleast. I wasn't calling to complain about the mounts just the rude rep btw lol. I am calm about the situation i mean im not going through a total meltdown like some of those fools that get their toons deleted by their girlfriends XD
