First, I will be honest. I have never liked our guild name. Blame my husband. When our guild first started, it was just the two of us and my sister (who has since stopped playing) and the name was his reaction to all the spam guild invites (the only reason we guilded up). Since we came back to the game, however, we have decided to actually recruit and do something with the guild, and I worry about the name chasing recruits away.
I have heard that we can now change our guild's name. Does anybody have any suggestions? I want to keep the snark without driving potential recruits away.
On the other hand, do others see no problem with the name, and think I'm just overreacting to my husband's sense of humor?
Welllll since you're advertising your guild as a place that would be appropriate for and welcoming to even very young children, I could see where the name might be slightly off putting to potential members (or to their parents).
I've always liked <Get off my Lawn>, but it works better for a gnome than a Tauren, and it sounds more like a guild of old people than a family thing. Hmmm thinking...
