Can you hear it, my brothers? Can you hear the Earth Mother’s call?
I am Gilroar Hawktotem, Champion of the Hawktotem Tribe; my surname given to me by the Chieftain Hranu. For the name I gave an oath, my sworn word to forever fight for my tribe and tribesmen – an oath which many of you took with me, only a few short years ago. This contract was not written in words, but still binds us together. We were tribesmen. We were brothers and sisters. We were the Hawktotem Tribe. Through us, our enemies knew the strength and fury of the Tauren.
But – time passed, and our chieftain fell; his life cut short at the hands of the Alliance. With that, the Hawktotem shattered, and all that bonded us together was lost. Some tried to claim the title of Chieftain for themselves, believing they had the wisdom and strength to keep continue the legacy. Others, such as myself, went out in search of the true Hawktotem heir, the brother of Hranu, Hawen. During our journey, I lost many whom I considered close friends. For one long year we went from world end to world end, but our labor was fruitless.
Perhaps though, we sought after the wrong Hawktotem. Naharak, son of Hranu, has taken up his father’s totem and spoken to the spirits of earth, fire, water and air. Even now, he is working to restore the Hawktotem Tribe to its former glory; to bring honor back to his family line. I call out to all Hawktotem, old or new, to join him on the fifth of May, the twentieth hour of the day, in Bloodhoof Village. Hear his words and his story, be lifted by his strength, but above all remember what you once were – what we once were. We are the Hawktotem Tribe!
((The Hawktotem Tribe is returning! All those interested should join us in Bloodhoof Village on May 5th at 8 PM server time, or whisper Naharak, Gìlroar, Bohanu, or Korrun if you have any questions!))
