Curious,

Anyone else finding thing problem? Tanking gear at 522 just seems to have WAY too much hit on it....I can't even reforge enough out of it to bring it to 7%

My Unholy set is running around with 12.5%, so, yes. Most of the off-set pieces seem to have hit on them.

7.5% hit is actually good to aim for as blood, though.

I think I've got enough hit to actually hit raid bosses in the NEXT expansion lol.

Sorry for the confusion, Just Equiping tank pieces and reforging OUT of hit, I was sitting at 9.16%, as I understand it the target cap is 7.5%

Stat squish wouldn't change how ilvls and static caps work.

I never had problems going over hit cap until items started have 900-1500 hit

Probably because the cap was designed to be reached in 463 gear, not 522?

Stat squish is lowering dps and health numbers, not fixing the moronic ilvl design.

Don't miss.

At least lots of hit = free haste to reforge into I guess. My Windwalker is much, much worse about being over the hit cap right now than this guy.

Im 2 or 3 % over.

But if its hit /mastery stuff im actively(ish) not reforging it because the .2% dodge isnt worth it

This tier has WAY TOO MUCH hit and expertise for every class. They did a pretty bad job with secondary stats this tier.

Honestly, who's idea was it to put 1887 hit on a melee DPS BiS trinket??? (549 Fabled Feather)

That's SEVENTY FOUR PERCENT (74%) of the hit cap from one item.

I've managed to stay around 7.50-7.90%ish hit all expansion, but it's required a lot of gear switching, gemming and different reforges to get to that. Quite annoying and fun at the same time lol

I don't know. Gearing is always better when there are little uglies among the beauties.

If all gear was always perfectly itemized, the game would be kind of drab.

THAT SAID, making people swim in +hit is kind of ridiculous.

It's annoying when a higher ilvl you get makes you to start tinkering around with all your gear. But the tinkering itself it's fun. Take it as part of the game, no two people will end with the same gear.
