*facepalm* you're hopeless.

Gave up already?

You gave up 5s? We stopped getting queues. :(

Asked on stream today, vanguards says relic is far better for games that last past the first 30 seonds so he uses it because most games do and talisman is better for 30 second or shorter games. Makes sense.

It was already late and we got sick of waiting 10 minutes times maybe today we'll queue again if we don't have to trade pug again :C

I stopped believing in what Vanguards says the moment he started doing mongoloid HoJs on everything he sees.

Hey, settle your argument with a duel.

With the recent 5.3 changes to Pvp power, are there any LFR ToT trinkets that would be better to use than the current Tyrranical pvp ones?

Thanks in advance.

Eldry,

What no one here has mentioned is these are trinkets that are proc based. They are not 'on use', and thereby are not on demand for specific opportunities.

This means, proc based trinkets, while delivering a larger damage capability, subject you to their whim, and equally important, subjecting your teammates as well. By using 'on use' trinkets instead, like the tyrannical, you can decided WHEN to burst your burst.

So say you're playing with a Mage or Warlock, and they tend to run off random crits to unlease their devastating spike, if they have to wait on you to proc, chances are they won't coincide. But, if you can control when your burst goes off, you can wait for theirs, and then you can unload and rightly so overwhelm their healing and defensive capabilities.

So to answer your question, it really comes down to what your medium of PvP is that you're referring to, and who you're running with on your team. If you like to control when your burst is, as I do, you can learn ways to make it very effective through macros (naturally) and game play.

Or you can do as the two above me are doing, and argue the statistical advantage of a one trinket over another mathematically while blatantly ignoring all other elements integral to PvP success.
