So I am working on getting my first healer to level 10 and want to do a battleground when she's there...I am still very much a noob and I've read some threads here, but I just have one or two questions...Am I expected to fight at all, or just heal? And do I need to get drinks or something to boost my mana? If so, how many/what kind? In the meantime I'm going to keep perusing this forum to see what tips I can find...thanks in advance!
Edit: Oh, if it matters, she is a troll druid.

You are always expected to keep the drinks and pots etc. that you need on hand. You are not going to need any at level 10.
You are expected to first STAY ALIVE, then heal what needs healing, then damage as much as you can, and always using your CC to accomplish this. Everyone will be gunning for you, learn how to hump the column.
Low levels are unbalanced and by unbalanced the OP nature of the classes will change by the level. Some levels you may find that you do more damage than the DPS, and then a couple levels later you won't.
