"Ad Infinitum Ickygawa"?

Would that even fit? :D

And would you transpose Ickygawa in it so it would actually make sense?

Just got Gale of Shadows today and wondering whether it's worth keeping or if I should keep going for Witching Hourglass

(Other trinket is Anhuur's Hymnal for which I currently need for the hit)

The numbers on both of those end up being roughly the same, so in a long boss fight (raiding situation) they're going to be fairly similar. In short term fights, hourglass is going to be better because of the static SP.

Personally, I prefer static SP with a massive haste proc rather than static haste with a slow ramp up SP mechanic.

It does,

"To the point of Infinity, Ickygawa!"

Heroic Atramedes vid up now:

Omnotron and Magmaw are also down but I was experiencing post-4.0.6 lag issues and was lucky to live through them -- no way I was frapsing.

I'm not entirely sure of which trinkets to use anymore, now that the new alchemist's stone looks like a solid option. I have Theralion's Mirror, Heart of Ignacious, and the Volatile Alchemist's stone (socketed with a +40 int gem). I also have the bell from Atramades, but I'm fairly certain it's the weakest of the 4.

The passive +351 int and haste from the stone seem solid enough. The passive +321 int and huge mastery proc also seem very good, but we don't benefit from the mastery proc unless it's time with an eclipse, so occasionally a proc is wasted (I'm not really sure about the ratio of wasted procs to useful procs, anyone figured this out yet?). Still they seem like the two best trinkets in my collection.

Even still, it's hard to deny the Heart of Ignacious, because it does provide a very nice spellpower bonus and the activation mechanic is very nice to blow with eclipse+nature's grace DoTs.

I know the darkmoon card is probably our best trinket now, but which trinkets do you all recommend using until I get the card?

If I remember correctly, I think with the changes to mastery, the Mirror was 2nd on the bis list, with only DMC:V ahead of it. I would think after that would be the HoI, Alch then Bell. There are some lists floating around that have them listed. A bit of light digging will find them.

Deneeka is right. I posted a link ~2 pages ago that confirms it.

Take any trinket valuation with a grain of salt. It's often rather difficult to accurately model how trinkets work, and even if you have it right on paper, you still have to account for things such as moving during procs, or just that some times the procs line up just right, and sometimes they don't. When talking about a proc that will only benefit us roughly half the time (a little more on some fights), you compound that problem.

The mirror may look best on paper, but I believe this is one of those instances where paper can't necessarily be trusted. I'd much rather choose a trinket where not only is the proc one that is consistently useful, but I can choose when to use it, over one that is random and only sometimes useful. Of course, mirror has the static int, which has a lot going for it, but for my money (figuratively speaking) I'd still rather go for HoI.

If I had my choice, I'd run HoI and Bell. The mastery proc of Mirror is nice when it aligns with an eclipse, but that's not guaranteed. But, I don't have HoI so I run Mirror and Bell.

Idk..from what I'm seeing from blizz right now..they don't know what the heck they are doing when it comes to druids.

Imo the only reason pvp ferals got the nerfbat was because bleed damage was so high. I think thats the only reason they even said, "Hey ferals are too mobile we need to do something about that." (yet they give mobility to unholy dk's go figure).

And now thats what they are doing to us lazerchickens. one thing goes buggy and gets OP (starfall) and now they try to change other things that aren't broken.

The old saying applies here, "If it ain't broke don't fix it."

Just to clarify this, the current nerf is taking moonfury's 15% damage buff and reducing it to 10%, in case anyone was confused at those numbers.

The thing is, as it stands now, starfall is STILL broken. At the VERY least it's still not working on targets without aggro tables. So they fixed the bit that was inflating our damage, but left the bit that's hurting our damage. I'm curious if anyone has tested whether or not it still drops 20 stars in a single target situation.

So no one is using the Volatile Alchemist Stone? That sure is a lot of int and haste.

I'd use it if I were an Alchemist! But I'm not, so only my Mage will get to :(

Even with the nerf? They added an ICD, I have a hard time believing it will be that good now.
