The problem isn't a battlecry so much as just a difference in mindset between the Alliance and the Horde.

Horde players feel a need to make themselves look cool. This is why they consider "For the Horde" to be so awesome, despite it being the same warcry as "For the Alliance," why they get so mad when someone mentions punting Goblins, and why everything that's wrong with their faction is blamed on the Blood Elves. Alliance players are more laid back in this regard, they don't get as invested in their faction as Horde players do.

Whether this stems the different ways Blizzard handles the factions or just years of Horde players telling themselves they're the better faction, I'm not sure.

Battle cries are more of a "horde" type of thing than civilized...

The perception is that the Alliance side tends to pretend they're more civilized, so the warcry is going to be less exciting.

"Horde" is just shorter and easier to work into battle cries than "alliance" which is an awkward 3 syllables.

"For Khaz Modan!" has a nice "bum bum, bum bum!" cadence to it so it works pretty well, and I think that's the most popular battlecry from the Alliance.

I think if you came up with something like "Alliance, forth!" or ... something similarly short you'd be on the right track.

The one I hear most often is "NEED MORE ON D!"

Token from the EU form CM. Alliance, best eaten raw. It'll catch on....at least on the horde side.

There was a really good suggestion about Turalyon returning and a forgotten glory returning to the Alliance.

It was quite awesome and I am sure had 1 or two "Battle Cries"

...-Make the Night Elf death animation any less hilarious...

Now that I think about, the death animation is actually sort of funny.

Anyway, I just think "Glory to the Alliance" is fine.

"Lok'tar Ogar" means "Victory or Death"... Not "For the Horde".... Just had to clarify this since a lot of people think "For the Horde" is the horde's battlecry.

The Queen's Royal Lancers have a good motto that could be a nice war cry:

"Death or Glory"

Short and simple, as I said the other day. "Alliance!"
