I made a post about this on the monk forums but i'll make it here
Crit is better because;
Revival was nerfed, one of the big reasons we int > crit before.
LMG was nerfed and we're replacing HLG soon. This means our mana will be a little less sustainable. We'll either be switching to Nazgrim + Thok's or Thok's + amp.
SCK was ultra buffed. SCK does insane healing now and costs a lot of mana. Meaning we'll need more regen from crit to sustain spamming it. Trust me, we need to spam SCK to keep up with druids and shamans.
Crit was already either equal healing wise or better healing with certain spells. Crit outscales int healing wise for RnM. The only things spells that int scales better with are, our lvl 30 talents, revival (before nerf, I don't know after), and life cocoon.
Unglyphed mana tea is godly. We now can make use of those extra mana tea charges. Allowing us to spam SCK harder.
Fistweaving scales harder with crit. Making crit even more worthwhile.
Now that said, It's only worth to start gemming crit if you have a 549 weapon from my experience. You should sim yourself here to see if it's actually a throughput gain to do so.
Credit goes to suzu for making such an amazing spreadsheet.
