@Spikespike: Honest opinion, for healing a resto druid all teh way due to their Op heals at the moment. I also like the hots and you have the heal spread out so that the druid dosent have to completley drain all its mana with one burst attack on the person its healing. For DPS on the other hand, i would always go with elemental shamans. Druids do have 2 spells that really irritate teh !@#$ our of everyone with flags 2 capture (Moonfire and Sunfire) but Elemental shamans and enhancment shamans are better for the simple fact that they are a bit more versatile in healing out their team. Elemental shamans heal very well and can kill most enemies by spamming lighting bolt, cast Flame Shock then 2 finish off in less than 10 seconds, Lava Burst. The faster the kill the more your team is helped because that is one less guys to deal with. Enhancment are more geared towards DPS but can also heal if necissary and do very good DPS as well. A moonkin does damage over time and has about 2 burst attacks. The only exception is Feral, if you are a we;; geared feral druid, then always go that, they do FANTASTIC BURST, (much better than rouges :( and they are very fun to play so overall. Druid =healing and only feral dps

@Arnhem: (pre-MoP) I agree. I've been playing the 'feral/hybrid' since 2009. In the past I've played the Warrior, Paladin, and Rogue and they seem boring by comparison. I too can't see playing anything else.

@Ladeton: I honestly love both but i seem to last longer as a pally in pvp than as a druid but in raids i do more dps as a druid.

@Ladeton: do the druid healz are so op and its fun to hop around with a flag while 10 guys r on u and just being able to heal ur way out of it

@Ladeton: Pally all the way! Pally tanks at full gear are amazing, especially if your tauren, no class can match the health and resilience of a tauren prot pally

@Jacobkenedy: All specs get cat, bear, sea lion, bird. 2 of these specs get additional forms: Moonkin form for Balance, and Tree of Life for Restoration.

@Jacobkenedy: Sorry, I forgot to say deer (travel form). All specs get that too.

@Espirituoro: Resto does not have tree of life form anymore. you can only get tree form with a minor glyph, which is purely asthetical, and thus, not really worth getting.

@Lachance: Yes, there's the glyph (glyph of the treant or something, which is just for looks) but resto druids still have Tree of Life form. It's one of the 3 talents you can choose at level 60. I know because my druid has it.

@Jacobkenedy: so, basically, if you want to heal, go resto, if you want to do damage, go balance

@Fluffysheep: it is rather low right now compared to most caster classes, but not as bad at pure dps as shadow priests. anyways, the difference is minimal if you play and gear well in pve, and bliz cares less to balance pvp than pve.
