Blizzard is making changes based on how it feels will best balance the game(pvp mostly). Will the adaptions change gameplay? Sure, but that's how life works. Things change, the sooner you realize that, the better life and this game will be for you. We will never go back to the way vanilla or BC used to be, because those models are no longer viable. People no longer have the time to spend hours on attunements or all day trying to get a group for a dungeon in trade chat. WoW became an "end-game" model a long time ago and by doing that questing is only a means to an end, not what the game is based around. So yes it will get easier.
Wow will continue to change as needed so it is still viable to its players. Remember they aren't looking at the few or the elite, they are looking for the majority wow player, how do they play and why. If suddenly all of wow became elite than the game would become immensely more difficult, but doing so now would cut out a vast majority of today's player base.
But hey I'm just a panda what do I know, right?

And I still fail to see how camping a rare should allow a person to gain faction reputation bonuses. Let's take a look at that. Drop the toon in spot, sit and not play the game, watch television, and then BOOM! August Celestials reputation drop. Hmm... It just doesn't sit with me. The problem is that so many people complained about daily grinding for rep that Blizz dropped a rep bomb for people so that they didn't have to grind it. At least if it doesn't make sense and tie-in, make it so that there has to be at least ONE alt that has already received the rep before allowing rep drops like that. LOL And yes, that was a personal pet peeve because I watched a friend who left the game for a couple months or so because they weren't happy with how WoW was going, come back and catch up to all of my maxed reps inside of a week or so that I grinded daily for weeks on end to get. Heh... so now I'm not playing. It's been close to 3 months since I have actively played any toon so I figure it should take me what... 3 weeks to catch up at this point? :P

The traditional MMO market may be dying out in favor of F2P, but WoW is certainly better than it was when I first started playing.

It should be optional. Make it like flagging for PvP in the the UI, and it would be perfect.

(I would be more understanding if the RUSH-GRIND bonus was for alts of an account). It was VERY HARD to level back in the day. I remember when getting the Pally Mount was a special deal; Although it took time, the reward was more lasting in satisfaction. Many are leaving the game due to the lack of "enduring creativity". That was the key aspect years ago that made people join and stay in the game. In the efforts to "make money"...Blizz has and will continue to lose money for this game. I have been playing for years but have seen this coming and have spoken to "hundreds" of people who play the game. Very few... very few are happy. What makes matters worse is the problem of the low population servers. People are leaving the game "instead" of transferring to another server. Blizz has not done anything to really address this. The cross realm ideology was good... but in the long run it hurt rather then helped servers of low population. I think they have to go back to the old roots of the ideology of the game that made people really come to such. There has simply been more blunders than achievements in game "enduring creativity" that will only result in a slow(yes, constant) decline in people staying with the game. If I would to give them any advice it would be to really look at the marketing spikes of patches and expansions when they come out VERSE the "enduring" activity after a month or so. I would bet anything that such a graph would show a decline after a very short time. MAKE it HARD to level BUT interesting...Give a BONUS to people that are hard core raiders that opt NOT to do raidfinder(raidfinder was a very good idea to let people experience content of game), Make a story line JUST FOR the people who PVP similar to a PVE raid(I am shocked after all these years such has not been done), DO something more meaningful with the "fail bags"(remember, people put in countless hours in the game-make something like what has been done with the artifacts), Make the real bonus on gear or specialty items for those WHO DO NOT use multiple bonus advantages in leveling(make the experience interesting with the expectation of a reward at the end-such will bring new excitement and let players explore with anticipation when leveling other toons), Make a PVP listing que where people can actually decide who and what class to go into a RBG(this is for people who cannot get into a RBG on their server)-If it is done for raid finder then why not RBG finder with the same ideologies of raid finder yet make it similar to the challenge modes in terms of gear yet limit the rewards for such in respect of those who can create such on their own, MERG low pop servers... now! There is no reason in any form to have such at this point unless it is by choice-simple if BLIZZ really cares they will allow guild transfers at no cost to other realms(at least free one time). Could I go on .. yes...but I think I will get ripped apart if I continue. I have been playing the game for many years and the same complaints for many years have yet to be addressed by Blizz. Yes, I am still playing the game. I have met and made friendships with people around the globe. However, the weights of such are becoming ever more pondering if I should put more time into the game...or maybe I am simply getting old(smile).
