Diablo® III

RoS beta questions/tests? Ask away!

Allow 2 rerolls on 1 item if it has a minimum of X affixes, say 7 or 8. Second affix reroll is always more expensive.

I never regarded affixes with low proc rates to be useful anyway. They just eat up affix slots.

Echoing Fury has a 20% fear rate and from what I've seen looks adequate. 5% anything rarely procs for me.

Thought I'd show the clan interface a little, is basic but works. I'm hoping to get some ANZ players, although we are a bit rare(or legendary) in the beta atm.

News etc can be set, can set ranks of people and what they can add/post. Is clan chat of course as well. http://i.imgur.com/7qNOr5B.jpg

As well as your clan you can join communities(basically the same thing) have the same interface just lets you be part of more than one group of people. This should bring back memories from older Diablo players. http://i.imgur.com/OAaus0Y.jpg

Chat itself looks like it is in live until you press the chat button on bottom left and it brings up a bigger better chat interface http://i.imgur.com/TYxQTAs.jpg

The arrow on the right lets you switch between All, Party, Whisper, Clan, Community, Public Chat. Can change font size and join/leave channels as well.

All in all a pretty good upgrade to the very basic chat we currently have.

It's just like SC2 WoL which had no clan support and a terrible chat interface - they wait until an expansion to do something about it when it should have been there to start with.

Can you be in more then 1 clan? Would suck if your friends are in 1 clan but want to also join ANZ clan.

Nice changes to chat options.

This has probably been discussed before Narull, but here goes. We are all madly para levelling our characters to be ready for ROS. A lot of us are levelling two or three of the same class because we prefer to play that class.

My question is: After our paragon points have been allotted, has it been officially confirmed that we can delete our duplicate characters without loosing any paragon points.

I currently have 3 Witch Doctors, but obviously only really need 1, it's just that I love levelling that class.

Clan no, community yes. As you can see in the first screenie I'm in the ANZ clan and the reddit community(it's basically the same thing just named different for the ones you can be in several).

Delete away!(once RoS is out), para points stay. hmm I might have to test what happens if you delete all your heroes at some point if a new one keeps para or not I'm not sure.

Now the most important question Narull... Are you having fun playing ROS at the moment ???, since that is the only thing that really matters.

Amazing fun, adventure mode is great it's not a mindless grind it's got a point with reward. Gambling blood shards on new gear is risky but can give great rewards and I've already gotten some things which I know will suck to lose come end of beta.

All in all the only thing I dislike is for broke people like me you need gold to mess around with enchanting, so might be worth getting a bit before the AH closes.

Can you post an update on your current gear mate?

And Gold prices have gone through the roof on the AH again... ~US$1.70 atm when it was only US$1.20-1.40 a few weeks back.

Complete gear set, with this I'm able to do Torment 1 without too much issue, did about 5 hours of it today with a friend who was streaming.

Plan is to try Torment 2 tomorrow.

He is playing a WD and neither of us have any bugged skills, there is a few bugged skills with some classes and majorly with Crusaders that's why people are plowing through higher difficulties so quick.

Seen a lot of different legendaries and as you can see mine are a bit odd as well. The Gold rain from sky one is amazing for grinding gold as everyone in the party gets gold from me(and nice stats for me).

I found a pair of gloves today that increases pet attack speed by 100% and gave to my WD friend who rerolled the dex to int and now they are amazing for his pet build.

WD friend got a ring that gives him something like 10000% life gain when hit by arcane, so whenever we ran into an arcane beam mob he would be invincible if he stood in them, very cool concept.

Legandaries really can change your play style if you want them too.

two things.

first is GLADIATOR GAUNTLETS ARE USEFUL

second, will existing gear be trade-able? gear for certain builds possibly wont (may not) be available in RoS, but people will still want to play those builds (0-dog mainly), even if they may not be as powerful. will gear i have be able to be traded in RoS?

i understand you may not know this answer

Currently gear I had when logging in to beta ie lvl60 gear isn't BoA so can still trade it etc. But as we all know that could change.

I've tried some, the matts required is a lot so I haven't been able to craft to much. It's cool that some of the new weapons require lesser versions of themselves to craft so it's like an upgrade.

Smart drops do seem to apply, of the chests, pants, neck's I crafted(about 5 of each) only about 2 of each were not smart drops. So i'd say maybe 70ish% are smart drops and remember even when they arent can reroll the stat to something you want most of the time.

Those are also all basic crafts not patterns I found so when you first hit 70 you can gear up by crafting/enchanting and gambling so quick to be able to get to Master and then farm a little for higher difficulty, but don't expect to walk into the highest difficulties like some streamers have done thanks to bugged skills etc.
