These all seems to be incredibly important to get as far as possible in GR. Some of the damage reduction options will be very good

Any of you guys notice that when you fail to clear a rift in time, the girl who tells you "good job, but not that good since you lived but your clear time sucks" can also upgrade your jewels?

Rank 50 sounds pretty tough to get, haha.

So they wanted to remove conduits from greater rifts and left it in..

Now they want to add in a conduit gem., talk about failed competition

it does damage based on how much dps your character does... its not a normal conduit. It could say... lightning gem - lightning shoots out of you for blah seconds.. same exact thing basically

Wish they would give confirmation as how the new consumable works. Because some of these seem stronger than 100% crit-damage roll on amulet and we want to know if rolling a socket on rings/amulets is the new #1 primary or if farming the new consumable is all that matters.

These could make a ton of rings/amulets nearly worthless or not... kinda matters for those not playing ladder or if you care about your "normal" character.

It matters for everybody, seasonal players will be mowing through GRifts within just a few days, anyway.

I would put money that it gives the item an extra primary affix

So currently the consumable is only for weapons:

That said, here's how Ramalandi's Gift is currently intended to work. This is all with the caveat that it's still under development, and potentially subject to change:

It will add a socket to an unsocketed weapon
    It only works on weapons
It will work on enchanted weapons, so long as they don't have a socket
It effectively adds an item affix in the form of a socket

So, yeah, many amulets/rings might become obsolete in the near future. Socket might soon be Primary #1 in ring/amulet.

Of course it matters for them but it isn't an issue because you start fresh and don't have to make adjustments like seemingly "normal characters" might for their current ring/amulet. It's looking like socket is probably going to replace "~20% elemental damage" on amulets and it seems very complicated for rings except SoJ unless you roll off the elemental for socket and keep a natural cc or cd.
