Katharsis & hammett, both of your points are valid, I don't know why you're argueing with each other. He's saying he'd rather be paid $200 than $100 now, which is a good thing, as long as you have a high level of *TRUST* in the person with your money, which obviously he does. I do too, but I'd rather have my money now, as I've had issues with money not showing up and *NEVER* receiving it, although it was for a single transaction.
As ThoRieQue said he had an auction sell over 2 months ago and never received payment, I had one sell for $50 on 10/30/12 (back then that was my biggest sale) and have still never been paid. I went through HOURS of hasseling blizzard, via ticket, phone and finally BBB. All were extremely futile and a complete waste of time. I thought I was safe that time, but apparanetly I wasn't. There were other people that had the same issue, but not as widespread as this (I think *everyone* is affected). The RMAH was extremely laggy during that week of october and felt buggy (Items weren't showing up in search results, would say "Expired" but still sit on there for a day after they expired, etc.). The item was marked as sold and I was never and have never been paid. Back then that was one of my biggest items found, I am absolutely 110% positive the payment was never received and the item was sold. Blizzard said the item was "Failed" and returned to me, it was not, and they never provided proof that it said "Failed" on their end.
Also, a Manticore for $3.55 after tax was never paid out to me, but I didn't care to much about that, I'm not 110% positive it was Blizzard and not an error by me, but I am about 95% sure.
Just a cautionary tale for those who have the "rest assured, blizzard will fix it" or "they legally have to give you your money" attitude. If you look hard enough, theres people ALL over with the same tale, don't just cross them out for being stupid or not knowing what they're talking about, because they do. =)
