Mar 15, 2016 Diablo II: Installers, Stand Alone Patches, and Update Troubleshooting Installers If you already own Diablo II, 1.14a installers for Mac and PC can be found here: Stand Alone Patches If you already have an older version of the game installed and are having trouble patching, go here for the stand alone patch: Troubleshooting I've just installed, but when I try to play on the game says someone else is using my key. We've fixed the key registration bug for the new 1.14a installers. There is nothing wrong with your key if you were receiving that message after a new 1.14 install. Unfortunately, you will need to delete your first install and reinstall from here: What if I am receiving errors attempting to patch or cannot complete patching? We recommend downloading and reinstalling with the new installers: What if I don't see installers on the page you linked? If you don't own the game, you will not see them there. Go here to purchase: Is there a Mac patch? No, the changes we had to make from legacy OSX to 10.10 and 10.11 support were too great, there is no Mac patch, only the install linked above.Omrakos0 Mar 15, 2016

Please keep all posts on topic. This means technical issues, advice, and discussion of technical issues. When requesting assistance with or discussion an issue, please create your own thread unless a topic for the issue already exists. Do not hijack threads with your new topic. Posting an issue which is similar but different from the original topic means that your request may be missed or the original request ignored. Please post a subject with a clear summary of your issue. Starting posts with "I need help!" or "Can't play no matter what" only serves to make your issue harder to resolve. Jun 3 Unable to connect to Game Servers - Port 6112 Error Hey all, We wanted to make the information on this issue readily visible as we've noticed a number of topics on the forums for this issue. ... Please note that Support cannot remove the jailing on CD keys, so your best bet is to wait this out and avoid VPN use while playing the game in the future. VPN use restrictions are designed to combat exploitative play. We know that a number of you use VPNs/Proxies to play with friends from within in your house. As a result, we've released some fixes which are designed to stop you from needing to use VPNs for this purpose. At this point up to 8 players should be able to access the servers from the same IP. Apr 7 [WC3] 1.28 Mac Troubleshooting Howdy, We are currently addressing issues with the patch. Please read this message in its entirety before you proceed. We are working on new installers for the account management page, but here is a direct link to the Mac launcher: You need to perform a one-time manual step before running the game. After you install the game you must do the following: 1. Create a text file named “roc.w3k” in the root of your Warcraft III installation folder 2. Open the text file and type in your CD Key with no dashes and no new line, it will be 26 bytes on disk – ex 01234567891011121318192021 3. Save the file 4. Repeat the procedure for Frozen Throne (if purchased) and use the file “tft.w3k” instead Some Mac players are also experiencing error, “Warcraft III was unable to find a CD Key…” This indicates a few possible problems that we are still working to find the root cause of. Here are a few workarounds: 1. First, check the CD Key files described above exist and have accurate keys 2. Try renaming “Warcraft” to “Warcraft” and then back to “Warcraft” 3. Try moving the Warcraft III installation folder to another directory and then move it back to the original location 4. Try rebooting your machine We are working through these and other problems, but hopefully one of the workarounds gets you playing. Cheers, PetePete Stilwell0 Apr 7

Feb 4, 2014 Temporary Restrictions *Update* This information will be updated soon as it's not currently accurate and reflecting the restrictions on both keys and IP addresses. I'm leaving the post up in it's entirety still for reference as much of it is still relevant and will remain so. If you receive the message that you are temporarily restricted or unable to connect, the first step is to attempt to log onto another realm, for instance if you are on USWest (Lordaeron), attempt to log onto USEast (Azeroth). If you cannot access only one realm then you may have a temporary IP restriction. Possible causes for temporary restrictions include: All Games: Spamming text or chat commands such as /friends list or /whisper or /whois (often associated with bots). Rapidly connecting/disconnecting to/from - over 50 connections/hour (often associated with bots or switching between characters). Viewing multiple profiles in a very short time period. Exceeding 8 connections to (often associated with bots). Repeated use of an incorrect password may lock an account login for your protection. Use of third-party/add-on programs (hacks) - these include but are not limited to sending bad packets, flooding the server(s), and the use of hack programs. Diablo II Only: Scrolling through skill selection using the mouse wheel. Going in and out of accounts/characters too quickly. i.e Muling Going in and out of games too quickly (most common cause). i.e. Muling, magic finding, Baal/Pindleskin runs, etc. Repeated requests for a new screen to see what you wish to gamble for. Going up and down a way point to refresh the screen in a shop (see above). Repeated use of a spell with no cast delay such as Amplify Damage or Glacial Spike. This lasts a maximum of 12 hours. Restrictions lasting longer than 72 hours usually indicates that you were witnessed by a representative doing something against the Terms of Use Agreement, which warranted a lengthy restriction. These restrictions will be for connecting to the realm at all. Common causes for extended restrictions include, but are not limited to: Attempting to use an invalid CD-Key (often associated with bots). Excessive spamming or flooding in a channel (often associated with bots). Spamming over multiple channels - even if it is just one line per channel. (often associated with bots). Use of flood or load bots. Harrassment of another player and/or clan. Advertisement of an inappropriate website URL. Use of third-party/add-on programs (hacks) - these include but are not limited to sending bad packets, flooding the server(s), and the use of hack programs. This type of restriction can last up to 2 weeks. Unfortunately, you will have to wait it out or obtain a different IP address from which to play. Please note that we will not provide support for changing your IP address. If you are absolutely certain you did not spam, keep in mind that anyone behind your network, or if your ISP shares your IP address (as in more than one persons are given the same IP address), gets restricted from, you will suffer the penalties along with them. This is the unfortunate disadvantage of using a shared IP address. Also, keep track of siblings and other people with access to your computer and/or network who play on, as they can get you restricted as well. It is also possible that your computer may be infected with a virus that has resulted in the restriction. It is important to realize that these restrictions are not exactly a punishment, but rather that they are necessary for server stability. When you spam, it places a much heavier load on the server and ruins the gameplay experience for everybody. For restrictions other than spam - such as using an invalid CD-Key - you are restricted to prevent abuse - such as stealing someone else's CD-Key via brute-force.Omrakos0 Feb 4, 2014
Feb 4, 2014 Firewalls and hosting games If players are not able to join your game, you may have a firewall in place. Firewalls may prevent incoming networks from reaching your computer and prevent you from hosting games. A firewall can come in many forms. In households, they may exist as security software, router and/or modem. The following information will help you configure your firewall. Ports Ports can be thought of as points of connection. The game listens to these ports to receive all of the information it needs to function. You will need the following ports opened to allow your game to accept connections and to host games: Diablo and Warcraft II Edition: Allow port 6112-6119 TCP and UDP out and in Diablo II: Allow port 6112 TCP out and allow established sessions in Allow port 4000 TCP out (realm games) Allow port 4000 TCP out and in (hosting open games only) StarCraft: Allow port 6112 TCP and UDP out and in Warcraft III: Allow port 6112 TCP out and allow established sessions in Allow port 6112 TCP in (hosting custom games) Allow port 6113-6119 TCP out and in (hosting custom games if you have changed the default port in the Options/Gameplay screen) World of Warcraft: Allow port 3724 TCP out and in for Game Allow port 3724 UDP out and in for Voice Chat Blizzard Downloader: Allow port 6881-6999 TCP and UDP out and in Allow port 3724 TCP out and in Allow port 6112 TCP out and in For detailed information about ports and their functions, please visit our support site information on Ports. Software Firewalls You may recognize names such as Norton Internet Security, McAfee Personal Firewall Plus/Express, ZoneAlarm, Sygate, Panda, and many others. These security programs act as firewalls that can block single programs or specific ports from the network. More information on these can be found here. Hardware Firewalls Virtually all routers available today have firewall functions to protect users from outside access. In addition to this, DSL and Cable modems may have firewall functions as well. These links will give you information on how to configure your products. For port numbers and information, please see above. Almost-everything Port Forward: Belkin Networking Support: D-Link Port Forwarding: Linksys Port Forwarding: Netgear Port Forwarding: USRobotics Support: ZyXEL Support:!index.action List of default usernames and passwords for routers: Notes and exceptions There are a few things to make note of. Warcraft III is the only Blizzard Title that currently supports multiple players hosting games behind NAT. Other games are not able to do this. You may experience high latency with StarCraft, Warcraft II, and Diablo when joining the same game from the same connection. These games were not designed to use a shared connection. If you have recently patched a game and get "Unable to connect", a software firewall may be blocking the game change. Please configure it to allow the changed game. A "universal rule" for a hardware firewall may work for all Blizzard games. Forward ports 4000 TCP and 6112-6119 TCP/UDP to your computer. For the Blizzard Downloader, if you have bittorrent set up already just allow port 6112 TCP and 3724 TCP. Port Triggering may work better for you depending on your router. Note that port triggering may fail if there is a second computer playing on the same game/port. Common issues If you did not change your networking equipment and you suddenly are not able to host, your internal IP address may have changed. Check your router's Port Forward section and make sure it is still forwarding information to the right computer.Omrakos0 Feb 4, 2014
Feb 4, 2014 Unable to Validate Version First it is important to understand that there isn't just one reason that will bring about this error. There is one general cause and that is that files are being altered. As for where/when or how, that is varied. These are the reasons for the error thus far: 1. Trojan/virus. 2. Spyware. 3. Bad RAM corrupting the files in memory. 4. Actual Corruption on the hard drive, bad sectors or just a one time corruption that occurred. 5. Packet altering software or security programs. 6. Intensive memory scanning/security programs. 7. General Background applications. Now, I must mention again, what works for one person will not work for all because the error is not always caused by the same thing. Trojans This is number one due to recent Trojan keyloggers that are designed to target Blizzard games and steal password information have become prominent plus it is the most dangerous and should be checked first. It is important not to rely on only one virus/Trojan scanner when scanning for a malicious program. New viruses and Trojans are being created every day that will bypass some security measures in place. It is a constant battle between software security companies such as Symantec (Norton) and McAfee as well as others to find and combat new threats popping up daily. Some good security programs can be found here. Spyware Spyware is a program designed to collect or monitor habits of the users on the computer and report them. It is important to note that spyware, viruses and Trojans are different things that require different scanners to detect. Most virus scanners will not check for spyware. A spyware scanner that has aided in finding and removing these types of malicious programs has been Spybot Search& Destroy: Bad RAM When the Application version is trying to be determined, the files that have been loaded into RAM are being checked. If those files cannot be recognized it may be due to bad RAM corrupting data in memory to the point where it can no longer be recognized. Running a RAM test should determine if this is the cause of the error. Using the web based one is a good initial start: however downloading that program and running it for 4 hours using a boot up disk is more thorough. Microsoft's Memory Test: Hard Drive This error can also be caused by actual corruption of the files on the hard drive, stemming from multiple causes itself. Corruption on the hard-drive can be cause by a variety of factors as well. Malicious programs previously discussed can corrupt files on the hard drive, or actual damage on the hard-drive could be the cause of corruption. Running a scan disk of the entire hard-drive is advised. Packet Shaping Some types of security programs will monitor and alter data that is being sent through a network connection. These types of program are benign in nature but in this level of security also may come side effects. If information that is being sent over a network is being altered in some way, the servers may not be able to recognize it when it reaches them. These types of programs are most prominent in colleges as well as businesses. Consulting the IT staff at these locations may reveal if there is such a program. They are often called "Packet Shapers" as well. Packet Shapers are also employed to give priority to certain types of internet traffic; ie colleges may use them to prioritize educational usage of a campus network while de-prioritizing entertainment usage. Security Blocks Some types of security programs will maintain a constant watch over what is happening in memory as well as make alterations. Like packet altering software, these are designed to help and keep the system more secure, but in that high of a level of security side effects may arise. When the servers try to determine what version of the game is running if the files in memory are being encrypted or altered in the name of security with one of these programs, it will not be able to determine what is there. The servers will not recognize the type of encryption or security measure taken. Background Interference As a general rule, the more that is running on a computer at one time, the higher the chance of something going wrong. In these cases it is best to check with Selective Start-up mode. Selective Start-up will start the computer with only the programs and features that are needed to run the program, effectively blocking anything unnecessary from starting. If this option allows the servers to recognize the game version, then one of the programs that was previously running was causing the error. One of them may have been a virus or Trojan, or the collective running of all the programs at the same time. The system may have had instability introduced when running the quantity of programs, small errors were introduced. Follow these steps to close Background applications.Omrakos0 Feb 4, 2014

General Discussion Forums are for discussion of topics directly related to each game The word general can be somewhat misleading, but any General Discussion forum is for threads about the game itself. If you wish to discuss other topics whether it’s polling for real-life statistics, or asking what someone listens to while playing, please post in our Off-Topic Forum. Please note that this includes comparisons with other games. Do not post in all capital letters, use excessive punctuation, etc. This practice is used to draw attention to a post. Using the words Blizzard, Blue, or any community team members name in a thread topic is frowned on Everyone would like Blizzard to read and acknowledge his or her post, and we understand that. However, use of such words in the topic does not help that come to pass. Please make your thread title relevant to the post subject. Posting IBL, IBTL, or its variants constitutes spamming We appreciate that our posters understand the Code of Conduct to the point where they can call whether or not a thread is in violation; however, saying “In before the lock” does not contribute to a constructive community and it does fall under spamming. Bumping a post is considered spamming and contributes nothing constructive to the discussion. Your thread will be seen; there is no need to continually bump it to the top of the list. Petition posts are frowned on This is a discussion forum. Petition threads do not contain much discussion, instead a petition is usually page after page of /signed. It isn’t constructive. If you have an issue with the game, please discuss it in a civil fashion. There are other places on the Internet to form online petitions. Do not post about locked or deleted threads Posts that are moderated have a reason behind the moderation. We lock before we post on a locked thread to stop the violation in question as soon as possible, so if you have yet to see a comment by a member of the community team on a locked thread, please wait for it and do not post on the subject. If you do have questions regarding forum moderation, please use the appropriate contact e-mail. If you have a post to report or a sticky to request, use the report option under the "Thumb's Down" button or email If you’ve found a solution to your issue, or fixed your issue on your own, you can mark your post and the entire thread as [Solved]. Only the creator of the thread (the “OP”, or Original Poster), or a Blizzard Forum Representative can mark a thread as [Solved]. Hover your mouse over the post that solved your issue, and click on the “Mark As Solution” button (it will appear along with the “Reply” and Quote buttons). The post will be tagged with a green “Marked As Solution” banner, and [Solved] will be added to the Title of your thread. Please keep in mind that when a thread and post are declared [Solved], this may only apply to the OP’s particular issue and circumstances, and fits his unique combination of software and hardware. One fix or solution can help many other players, but it probably won’t help all players. If the fix or solution doesn’t help you, it is just one more factor to eliminate in the troubleshooting process, and we’ll try our best to help you narrow it down, to find the solution that applies to your computer, and your circumstances. Please do not post linking to threads you feel should be moderated or stickied. By using the methods we have in place, we can moderate more efficiently.Omrakos1 Feb 4, 2014

1h Game doesn't exist 120hrs+ help! What does that even mean? I can't find any information . The tos says nothing about "game doesn't exist" There isn't a blue post about "game doesn't exist" Absolutely zero information about "game doesn't exist" I need a Blue to explain to me like I'm 5 exactly what this error means...because logic suggests that if I'm temp banned like everyone claims I would get an error that says "you've been temp restricted blah blah" and not "game doesn't exist".Creepshow4 1h
3h Can't connect to US West I got online to play just now and US West is the only one I can't connect to. Is my account restricted in some way? I have a legitimate version of Diablo 2, and haven't used any weird programs or anything else sketchy. All I do is log on and play.Noxxicity0 3h

3h Realm down question So i got the old "server down" every time I try to make a game. Its been almost 48 hours now i think, my question is does the time for the realm down to go away reset if i log in and try to make a new game? 3h Diablo 2: your connection has been temporarily restricted from this realm I keep getting this message after playing for everything between 5 and 30 minutes: "your connection has been temporarily restricted from this realm, please try to log in another time" From what i understand this is some kind of bot prevention, but this even happends if ive been in a game for well over 10 minutes and exit that game. It happends more often if i join for example Baalruns but it feels riddiculus that normal players are being punished in this way. Can't you just simply permaban the bots instead? They would have to buy new serial codes every time, i guess that would keep them at bay instead of this system that keeps me from playingGhast278 3h

I got the online to work, but now my saved game from single mode is gone. I had looked on here to see a fix, but couldn't fine one, so I thought, eh nbd I'll just restart...then I go to play today and that saved game is gone too! so basically, I can't get past the first act unless I want to play the whole game through from start to finish. what is happening? where are my saved gamesRep23892 3h

4h Diablo II temporary suspension system and its flaws Before I go on to the topic, I'd like to state that I am well aware threads regarding this topic already exist. The purpose of this thread is merely to summarize what I have already read, and to say what possibly hasn't been said yet in order to illustrate the gravity of the issue the best I can. And apologies in advance for a lengthy post! Now, a lot of people, including myself and my father, have decided to come back to Diablo II recently but only to discover the new oversensitive and merciless suspension system that automatically puts a temporary IP ban on the player in case certain "suspicious activity" is detected. I'm not sure anymore if it's allowed to post a link to another thread (let me know if it is and I'll post it in the comments), but here is a quote from a blue post about this: "Possible causes for temporary restrictions include: All Games: Spamming text or chat commands such as /friends list or /whisper or /whois (often associated with bots). This lasts a maximum of 12 hours." Before I go on listing everything wrong with this obscene list, let's look at the pros and cons first. Pros: -reduces server stress -prevents botting (or at least that's what it's supposed to do) Cons: -annoys fair players (FACT, just look it up on the forums) -renders using Diablo II to its full potential impossible -ruins nostalgia due to enforcing a very dull and straightforward play style (let's face it, this is an old game. People don't come back here for drastic changes) -Is not a maximum of 12 hours (in the OP I quoted it's explained that some suspicious activities such as using third party software may lead to a longer ban, yet I am still banned for longer than 12 hours and haven't done anything besides play the game) Ok now on to criticism. First off, the "pros". True, the bots are almost nowhere to be found and that does make the experience ever so slightly more enjoyable (I personally didn't find these bots too hindering or annoying nor do I know anyone that did). But good job on that, it's working as intended. Reduced server stress. This one is tricky as I am not sure if the servers have ever been changed since the good old days? And perhaps the server deteriorated to an extent? No idea. But what I do know is that a lot less people are playing this game now than before, and there are a few (if any) bots left now, compared to thousands back in the day. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't recall many crashes or maintenances in the past and the servers worked fine. And you're telling me that now all of a sudden, with much less players and almost no botting cluttering the servers, that server stress has to be reduced in this manner? I find that hardly convincing. As for the cons.... oh boy. Annoys fair players. Why? Because for example I play on my laptop and I often use the touch pad as my mouse. Scrolling tends to happen randomly by accident whilst having two fingers on it at the same time, thus scrolling through spells and causing this system to trigger apparently. Other than that, I like to have a lot of charms in my inventory as they are a good improvement to my character's overall performance. This means I can only carry 1 to 2 extra items at a time, which means of course that I often have to revisit the time to sell items. This, naturally, triggers the vendor window to refresh, which ALSO causes the system to trigger. Next up, muling. Yeah yeah, relogging stresses servers. Perhaps all that wouldn't be necessary if we had more than a tinderbox for an "personal stash". How am I supposed to save socketed items that I want to make rune words from, and save all the runes and gems required to upgrade the runes into the ones I want, if I can't storage even 1/3 of the stuff necessary for this? This is why muling exists in this game. You want less stress due to relogging? Add a giant bank space or something, boom! Fixed. OR add a limit to relogging, similar to "you have entered too many instances recently" in WoW, rather than banning the IP address of the "perpetrator". Repeated use of certain spells? I won't even comment on that one, it's self explanatory. Bottom line is: yes I am annoyed. I have been playing this game for years back in the day and not once was my gaming experience ruined by bots or server issues or bans or anything alike, yet in the last few days I have been banned for 24 hours in a time frame of 48 hours. That's 50% of the "play time" spent BANNED FOR PLAYING THE GAME NORMALLY. And I'm not the only one; thousands have endured the same, if not worse. Now compare years of happy play time with very few issues and complaints to 48 hours of play time with 24 hours of being banned for playing the game like a normal person. "Renders using Diablo II to its full potential impossible" As mentioned just now, you can't use spells, you can't sell items frequently, you can't relog frequently or join games frequently. The whole point of Diablo II is to hop into different games! Once you've done the storyline there is little reason to hang out in a single game for longer than 1 hour. And even that's over the top for most activities. Restricting this takes away the majority of the gameplay and prolongs the grinds by countless hours. And it's not like you'd do anything in that extra time save being banned or ildly waiting around and standing still in town, making sure you don't cause any "suspicious activity". Thus, it restricts hopping gameplay, but it doesn't promote any other kind of gameplay due to its hypersensitivity to "suspicious behavior". This makes playing the game a real mental challenge. In order not to get banned you'd have to calculate your time spent doing various activities and be extra careful not to get caught being at all active. Seriously, I find the game impossible to play with these restrictions in place. And anyone who finds this enjoyable has something seriously wrong with them and plays Diablo II in a way it was never designed to be played. "Ruins nostalgia" For a game that's over a decade old and practically abandoned (since no content changes have come out in years), it's pretty obvious that the people that came back didn't come back to have a completely different experience. Of course the experience isn't going to be 100% like it used to be, but people expect it to be more or less the same for the most part. Having to heavily adjust the gameplay to some crazy oversensitive ban system is ruining this experience. "not a maximum of 12 hours" Pretty self-explanatory. I have been banned for more than 12 hours now (for the second time) and I even did less of the "suspicious activities" than the first time I got banned. A lot of other people experienced suspensions longer than 12 hours as well. All this being said, I think it's quite obvious this system sucks. It has barely one beneficial trait (stopping bots) and a bunch of cons. I'm really not the kind of guy to believe in conspiracy but learning about all this makes me think you guys made Diablo II literally unplayable in order to get more people to play Diablo III. Either that, or the team that designed this is sabotaging the game on purpose. No one can tell me that making a system so strict, at a time like this when so few people still play this game, is a necessary tool to reduce server stress. The servers worked fine before and I don't see why they wouldn't work fine now. And I am not saying this system should be removed, rather that it should be refined in a way that it doesn't hinder the basic gameplay. Either that or the game has to be changed to fit the system. I think it's obvious which is easier to accomplish.Cyric2 4h
6h Constant stuttering in War3 4v4 RT I am having nasty stuttering in warcraft 3 whenever i play 4V4 RT over (Northrend europe) - single player works normal. This has been happening since the last month and i have not been able to solve it at all. Just to explain i don't have lag - between stutters my lag is actually pretty low and acceptable. But after every ~3 seconds of normal low-lag gameplay my entire War3 will freeze for less than 1 second. That cycle repeats over and over and over and over again, endlessly. A few days ago i completely formatted my PC and switched my old HDD for a new SSD, so i had to redownload and reinstall everything (windows and its updates, drivers, all games...). But the same old issue with stuttering in warcraft 3 is happening again... I have tried changing resolutions and other war3 settings like -nativefullscr, compatibility modes and "run as admin", firewall settings, testing packet loss by pinging to and, disabling anti virus... I have no issues in any other games and my PC is well above War3's requirements: CPU: i7 4790 16GB ram R9 380 gpu 125Mbit/sec download 2Mbit/sec upload Ethernet connection (no wireless) Windows 7 64bit all security and mandatory updates including .net stuff. Can anyone please help...Bogdanov890 6h

9h Got killed in town and got redirected here by adam I wrote on the blizzard support app and adam told me to post here my problem so ill just copy/paste what I wrote him: I play hardcore and im plaing very safely. But now im getting killed in TOWN(yes you read it right IN TOWN) by hackers/glitch or whatever you want to name it, and seems that its been known for years and still not fix. I have proof via screenshoots , one is mine that i took when i got killed and an other one (the one im sending you) is the guy that killed me (he sent it over a forum to make fun of me). I've always been a blizzard fan , i bought : 2 times diablo 2 and diablo 2 exp, i bought 1 diablo 3 and exp on ps3 then rebought it on ps4, i bought overwatch and had fun so far. Therefore, im asking you guys to do something about it, I've come up with 4 options which seems fair to me 1. You somehow fix the bug and give me back the gear/char i worked so hard to get 2. You do something about the haker or w/e you call him/it 3. You do nothing and refound me 4. (hope you guys wont choose this one) You do nothing , dont refound me and loose me as a client forever (trust me , im a man of my words)BunkerRulz10 9h

PS - The D2 account is registered to a different email address than the one I use on this forum. If you need me to confirm anything let me know. EDIT: I can log into my character again. 14h Diablo II: LoD - "You were disconnected from Please reconnect" Please advise - it seems that there have been multiple posts on this with little to no resolution. I am on a Mac, not a PC, so it is not a 'run as admin', or patch issue. This happened after I tried to connect on my LTE and tether. I am yet to find any resolution or solution, or feedback as to what and how long it may be like this.Wartheory8 14h
16h You were disconnected from Please Reconnect. (Not Resolved) Please Help! I've had this error message for about 4 weeks now. I've tried everything even changing IP's. I ran the game as admin opened every port, but no luck. I switched compatibility modes. I even tried to contact blizzards customer support but even that doesn't work. Any help would be great!Putzo3 16h
16h diablo 2 realm restricted so I have been playing diablo 2 since a long time again and started to play online which I have never done before (always solo). so I thought I might be nice to try it. I had to do several chores through out the day so I played diablo 2 in between them. Then I got the message: Your connection has been temporarily restricted from this realm. please try to log in at another time. that happend 2 days ago. I'm feeling quite let down by Blizzard that they would do this te people who have been playing there games for a long time since diablo 1. Anyone got a solution for this?tenshinoshi2 16h

17h Diablo II: LoD - "You were disconnected from Please reconnect" ...going into the patch screen of any server of Diablo II: LoD, I get the message," You were disconnected from Please reconnect." Looking for a solution. If there is no solution, I will no longer be a Blizzard Customer. ..I've enjoyed my share of Blizzard Games in the past.. Lately, all I've wanted to do is play some good ole' Diablo II with a buddy of mine. If I can't do that, I guess I'll abandon my childhood go to game company "Blizzard". Grinding Gears Games > Blizzard I'll just take up PoE, it's a better game anyway.CloudOSmoke10 17h
17h Diablo II: recent experience Some Diablo 2 feedback- After the recent summer games done quick I decided to challenge myself by trying a single player barbarian that was a pacifist. I spent what feels like two weeks of intense playtime to get to level 26 and make my Edge weapon and, I find out all that work is pointless. I try to find the accepted ruin word mod for single player on the forums the link is dead. I find a mod to enable it and it fails. I research further and it seems any ability to downgrade or mod is also locked. The save file is likely toast and as much as I love this game, I wonder if I'll ever play it again.Aktino1 17h
18h WC3 Account recovery Hello Blizzard support, I wanted to recover an old Wc3 Account that has been deleted maybe this year. I have been pretty active with that account and I was even top 500 in 4v4 but stopped playing last year and so it just got deleted. Would you want me to write the name of the account here or should I pm you? RegardsIPityTheFool1 18h
20h just bring back the damn spam bots and mass botters.. Your attempts to get rid of spambots and mass botters was successful, props for that, but you are also affecting a large number of legit players. This will lead to a further decline of an already dead community. As much as I don't care for spam bots, or mass botters, just let them do their thing, your attempts to get rid of them have simply allowed players like myself to not play due to the precautions you have taken. Again while your actions towards these jerks has been effective, it has also affected the innocent. I would step back and rethink the actions you've taken to get rid of them. Sure stop VPNs and proxies and such but the other restrictions that hit players simply muling their big find or looking for an item that they have muled is a pretty big deal. I had 3 friends come back to play this ladder expansion, all of which have already sold their keys to china farmers and decided "Well if this is how they are, !@#$ them and %^-* Blizzard games." - You are not only getting rid of the annoying spam bots, you are getting rid of legit players. Please don't make me one of the players you get rid of, I've been enjoying D2 for almost two decades now, and I have to admit, this is pretty damn discouraging, I'm about at the end of my rope with you guys.tool6 20h
21h forgot account name. help! so I just got realm down. while rushing someone i just met, i found a gheeds, so i dropped my current gheeds, got on a mule, transfered some stuff around, and when i was coming back into the game to get the other gheeds, i got r/d. thats fine, i contacted someone who went into the game, got my gheeds, made an account for me, put the gheeds on it, gave me acc name and password. so i logged into it to see if it was all correct, and when i went to go back to my other account, i realized i forgot the account name!!!! oh man..... it was something like: trumpsucksss, or, trumpsuckssss, or trumpsucksssss. ive tried all that i thought it was, and they done seem to be right. I remember my character name of my necromancer was: JayFokinWilson, it was level 87 or 88. I did not register my account with an email address (didnt plan on keeping the account). ive worked really hard on this account, is there anything you guys can do to help me recover the name? i know the password, i have the name of the temp account that my gheeds is on, etc etc. please let me know if you can help me :)LostSoulz10 21h
23h [WC3] Not opening, even after "Update complete" Until the other day I've never had any problems booting wc3, but today I tried to boot it and all I get is a small Bnet launcher staying 'Starting Warcraft 3" then a window saying that an update is complete, but when I click on the 'Launch' button it doesn't open the game at all. No crash messages or anything. Nothing in my task manager process or anything. Just like I'm not clicking anything.Archeuz0 23h
1d No folder for Custom Campaigns (WC3/TFT) I have read other threads regarding this matter, and people say its possible to simply create your own folder in the WC3 index and name it "Campaigns" but it doesn't work for me. 1d Warcraft 3 Patch 1.27 Battlenet Disconnection issues on Mac... Hey guys. SO...Up until today I'v been playing Warcraft 3 on my old iMac running 10.7. As we all know, patch 1.27 doesn't support old mac software any more. Any ways. After an hour or so, I managed to install Warcraft 3 on my new Macbook Pro running 10.11.3. I updated Bnet and logged online fine and can even get in to games fine... But here where my troubles start. I "Played" 8 games this morning to get disconnected 6 times out of 8... As well, the two games I didn't Disconnect from were RT games. Is there a bug with Solo right now? As well it is important to note that the games played fine up until I got Necromancers and uses Raise Dead.. Almost exactly when I raise dead for the first time, my game crashes, Maybe a bug with this?? This is one one my favorite strats to use, its just so fun... lol. Any way, I would just like to know if any one else is experiencing any disconnections (especially with Necs Raise dead). I just wish they never updated... Yesterday I was playing fine.. 1.27 sucks..zwill56 1d
1d Classic games on Launcher I'm sure this has been asked and answered, but I can't find it via search. I have WarCraft 3 and TFT, D2: LoD (but not the original game, the code didn't work for some reason on the website) and SC: Anthology already added to my account via physical copies I already owned and added myself. How can I get them to appear on the Launcher so I can download and play them via that? Also, is there a way to deal with the fact the website wouldn't take my D2 base copy key and get it to work? (This is an aside, I'm not nearly as concerned about it as I probably should be.)Pirogoeth3 1d

1d Unable to Whisper or Talk on Battle.Net (WC3) So, on warcraft 3 I can't whisper or /f m. It doesn't go out or show anything, and when I talk in channels, it only shows for me and my friends don't see it (I asked them on Skype). I have the same issue on my Stealthbot, so I know it's not the game client. Did my IP get temp banned from talking in channels or something? I don't wanna be rude, but considering I bought a copy of this game and haven't broken any rules- This needs to be addressed. I'm trying to get people together for a new clan and, obviously, this issue is massively inconveniencing for me. Thank you. EDIT:: If your server side staff are working on it, my IP is the same as this login and the CD Keys linked to this account.Saerthil9 1d
