hentie, you'll need to reach out to customer service. Head over to https://battle.net/support/help/ and open a ticket related to your account. You can have a support agent email you, call you, or even live chat on the website.

Good luck!

Thanks for the report. Removing it now.
Hello,

I created a while ago a Wordpress plugin named WoWpi (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wowpi/) which allows blog owners to retrieve data from Battle.net API regarding the World of Warcraft character and guild. The plugin is still in development and will always be (or at least as long as I keep playing World of Warcraft).

Please try it and, maybe, tell me what improvements it needs. Thank you.

@Aurifex I've re-written my Node.js package under a new name. Could you update the line for battlenet-api to blizzard.js (https://www.npmjs.com/package/blizzard.js)?

Thanks

Sure thing, skt.
Hey Aurifex,

I created a Starcraft python wrapper if you can add it to the python list that would be great.

Post edited.

Done more searching, appears there is no up-to-date list of item name to item id, so I'm currently indexing wowdb.

Will post a link to a pastebin of the file when im done.
I have indexed all available items from wowdb's JSON API and stored it in 2 formats:
1) txt file
2) SQLITE3 db.
- table name: items
- columns: id, name, itemid

All files are hosted on my bitbucket repo

https://bitbucket.org/post-fix/wow-itemname_to_itemid

I will eventually update this db/txt file to contain more info such as item level, required level to wear, etc...
@Aurifex Can you add wow4j (https://github.com/strattonw/wow4j) to the list under Java API Tools. wow4j is a java wrapper for the WoW community APIs.
roncli's strongly typed LibWowAPI (GitHub)

This library isn't being maintained any longer from what I've been able to tell. No updates post legion.

Which means classes no longer reflect the objects being returned. JSON will still parse into objects but things like Versatility and other post legion additions to the game are not modelled.

I wouldn't use this unless you plan to update the library yourself.
Hello,

I made a Laravel 5 package for battle.net api (only the WoW api atm).
It add battle.net api in your laravel application with ease.

Packagist: https://packagist.org/packages/xklusive/laravel-battlenet-api
Github: https://github.com/xklusive/laravel-battlenet-api

This is 100% functionnal for laravel 5.3, but version 5.1 and 5.2 will be supported in the future.

Still in developpment, many more features will come in the next weeks.

@Aurifex can you add it to the list of php tools ? :-)
@Aurifex (or any other dev) are we allowed to publish Diablo III in-game leaderboard scrapper programs?

There is a ton of information available in-game that is not published on the diablo III leaderboard API (like gear!), and while people have been requesting the info for years there's no ETA.

Meanwhile some of the top diablo 3 leaderboard websites are displaying this info, clearly scrapping it using in-game scrapper programs.

As long as the program does not read in-game memory and only takes screenshots, do keyboard input and mouse input (to navigate the leaderboard menus), and never join a game, is that acceptable?

I don't want to make something if not allowed.
This update was much overdue. Many thanks to Lazerhawk05, thedeadwalkk, Puntr, and Xklusive for their contributions. And thanks to Mortainius for letting me know that one of the projects wasn't maintained.

I believe using such a tool would violate our TOS, so I don't think I can include it in this list.

Now, speaking personally rather than as a representative of Blizzard, this sounds similar to lock picks. In most states in the US it's perfectly legal for someone to own or use lock picks for personal reasons. They only become a problem when someone uses them to break into someone else's possessions and/or burgle. Then again, I'm no lawyer so proceed at your own risk.
Hi, is this list still up to date ?

Haven't heard any updates from authors or users, so ... yep!
My python wrapper was moved from bitbucket to github.
