Name: PVP Armory
URL: http://pvparmory.com
Platform: Web
Code: PHP

Functions:
The official warcraft armory has always impressed me, but it's most recent facelift has seen a lot of data go missing, in particular, PVP data!

PVP Armory is just that, a PVP-based armory detailing the usual character info & gear, along with data from rated arena, rated battlegrounds, skirmishes, random battlegrounds, as well as a duelling record and PVP titles.

It's a continuing live project with additional features appearing over time, I'm always open to suggestions/tips.

URL: https://buscarefugio.firebaseapp.com/#/
Platform: Web
Code: VueJS + NodeJs + Firebase
Functions: Track / list the users in my clan and see what they are building

I'm still working on it, started few days ago.
See you later!
Name: WoW Loremaster
URL: https://wowloremaster.com

This web app looks at the achievement and quest history of your characters and tells you what alts to use for each zone you need to finish off for the loremaster achievement.
Name: Mythic Dungeon Tools
URL: none
Platform: Android
Language: Android (Java)

This app has 3 functions:

*Group Matcher: Find groups with similar compositions to yours that are on the top of raider.io so you get an idea of what do you need to complete your group.
*Dungeon Paths: A collection of maps with pull information and critical mobs.
*Character finder: Check the best runs for a specifc character and also a link to his warcraftlogs profile.

Name: D3 mystic
URL: https://d3mystic.com
Platform: Web
Code: Laravel + Jquery
Goal : Record your game progress (journey, conquests during the season, grifts and later on achievements) + News

I'm still working on it and fixing some bugs.
The register via bnet only allows me to get your battletag (that needs to be unique)
Name: Wowcheck
URL: http://wowcheck.info
Platform: Web/responsive
Code: PHP
Functions:
Blizzard often sets ilevel gateways for content like heroic dungeons, raids and scenarios. I used to track my ilevel in a google Sheet, but realized that the API gave me everything I needed to do this automagically.

Given a character and realm, Wowcheck will give a detailed view of the character’s current gear, as well as a visual representation of the items most in need of upgrade. The user can also set a target item level if they wish, and the tool will indicate again which items are most below that threshold.

Learnings:
This was a great exercise for me, as I learned the battle.net API, php (this was my first php project), JQuery, git, and Heroku.

I also managed to figure out how to use the AWS Cloud9 IDE over SSH to my home Linux box running Docker containers, which I found to be a fantastic way to develop in the cloud from any browser, then just push to the Heroku production server over git. That’s another post if anybody’s interested ;)

Discomfort:
The new APIs with OAuth2 are likely to break this, but I’ll cross that road when we get to it. I may be misinterpreting, but it sounds like I might need to get an auth token to view somebody else’s character, which would break a lot of things in the community dev environment.

To do:
    - I’ll probably redo a bit of code to use GET vs POST so a link to a character can be saved
    - I’d also like to get a donate button up to help defer the cost of more powerful Heroku dynos or move it to AWS if people use it. Right now it’s on a free dyno, so it spins down after 30m of inactivity
    - I’m not 100% happy w the responsive design yet. Works for most phones but it still doesn’t render the way I'd like it for some tablets
    - Wowhead tooltips are hit and miss... seems like it's at their end, but it's hard to tell
    - I’ll whip together some icons so saving to the home screen will look better.

Anyway, please take a quick look at it and tell me what you think! I find it useful, but YMMV.

Thanks in advance,
Name: Xu-Fu's Pet Guides
URL: https://wow-petguide.com
Platform: Web
Code: PHP, Javascript

A community platform around finding and sharing pet battle strategies. Offers Battle.net oAuth login to import your pet collection, displays statistics, missing pets etc. and compares your collection to the existing strategies on the page. It then suggests which strategy to use against each fight in the game.
Name: Get Of Fenris Guild
Url: http://gofguild.azurewebsites.net/ (still in beta)
Platform: Web
Code: C#, ASP.Net Core MVC, JS, JQuery

Project: Guild website with additional functionality using the WoW data API. This guild will be a WoW classic guild so functionality only concerns vanilla WoW data. Some features added as follows:

1. PvP Weekly and Lifetime Leaderboards using API
2. Raid Creation/Management/Signups
3. Application management with messaging between admin and applicants.
4. Forums.
5. Character tracking using data API.
6. Creating gear wish list per character a user has. Loot chosen by raid instance, then boss, then loot in modal.
7. Crafting hub for recipe distribution/crafting requests. Query data api to what users need or have what recipes. User can create requests for items users can craft.

Name: Indifferent Auction House (Alpha)
URL: https://indifferent.us
Platform: Web
Code: Python

Functions: A project to see what I could do with graphing auction house data with a few different python libraries to see if I could get any useful information. It is still in the very early stages and only supports one graph type.

We are currently in a Alpha and we require a user registration so we can see what is being used.
Now moved to a virtual cloud server, so no spinup time at Heroku anymore.

Also moved the data to the query string so you can bookmark your characters.

I’m going to do some cookie work so the last toon you viewed is the default toon when you hit the page fresh.

I still don’t have the bootstrap grid working the way I’d like, so some of the default infotext doesn’t view properly.

Check your error page, you might be giving out too much information on it when a GET fails
