give that developer a raise

For causing a bug through inept coding?

The only thing inept is your sense of gratitude.
This worked, thank you!
Mine is back up to 50 fps and running beautifully. Thank you again!

That's not what I asked.

1.14 is capped 203 fps max, patches before 1.14 you can go over 200

Use to get 800+ in 1.13 now i'm at 200-203.
It's true they have capped the fps but on 1.12a - 1.13d some people I know were getting 1000+ fps depending on how expensive their video card is / GPU used.
I'm at 203 FPS on an Nividia GTX 550ti
No issues here

But I am using a GlideWrapper to run D2 in Glide Mode (D2 was designed to use Glide from the ground up)

Game runs smooth AF like it always does. (Tested online US-East-Ladder January 5th 11:11 AM MST)

Did this only affect users that used the standard API forced upon D2? (Direct3D)

I played D2 yesterday and had no issues at all apart from the known teleporting issue if you have high FCR on your char.

Do you have a grainy screen problem using Glide? If not is there a way to adjust things so it is grainy?

Do you have any suggestions on how it increase fps? Mine are capped around 50. I have the machine to do it, I just don't know how and I don't want to do anything that can lead to getting me punted from b.net. Any input would be much appreciated.
No issues with "Grainy Screen". I have "supersampling" enabled in the Glide Wrapper and that smoothens and sharpens the game scene and font.
I had the same problem on my side

i7
1060 6GB

and i have updated my nvidia graphics Drivers. Had max 15FPS before update, then 60+ (got locked Vsync on 60).

What Glide Wrapper are you using? Sven's doesn't have that feature.

Edit: I found where the feature is suppose to be (between bilinear filtering and shader-gama in the "render" tab) but it isn't on my version.

Edit: Found the feature to enable it! :)
I adjusted the Glide Wrapper settings and am now getting 200 fps. :D

Glad I could help :)

IMO Glide Wrapper is the way to go for D2 hands down.

May you post the parameters in which you changed, AtomicPunk?
I was playing game fine with sven's glide wrapper yesterday (europe), but overnight it now is hell. I get extreme fps-drops overall.
I use the CTRL+ENTER feature of the glidewrapper, swapping from window/fullscreen whenever.

There's no "supersampling" between [bi-linear filtering]/[shader gamma] options. Where is it?

edit: ah, supersampling ignored.
"WGL_ARB_render_texture is not supported by the driver. Supersampling is ignored"

Renderer: Intel(R) HD Graphics 620. aka my integrated GFX card. I have a dedicated gfx; Gforce 940mx in my laptop - any way to run Diablo II through this? IIRC it doesn't work :c
