D2 Runenword Oath bug?

General Discussion
Hello everybody,

I built the rune word oath into an ogre hammer yesterday.

When I used the runes, I noticed that the rune word didn't work.

Now the question how I can be helped and who is responsible for the error.

I would be very happy about your support.
Oath can only be build in Maces, not in Mauls like ogre hammer:
https://diablo.fandom.com/wiki/Oath_Rune_Word

https://diablo.fandom.com/wiki/Maces

"Maces are ONE-HANDED blunt, melee weapons in Diablo II. "
Mauls are considered Maces: http://classic.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/elite/umaces.shtml - this is why "Mace Mastery", the passive Barbarian skill works for mauls as well.

If you use the official strategy guide for Diablo 2 at the "Arreat summit" you will see the correct listings of each rune word: http://classic.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/runewords-110.shtml

Oath is a ladder runeword which means if you are on "non-ladder" it will not work, I suspect that maybe this is the case here.

The maul is actually considered a "hammer" sub-class from the main mace class. Oath works in these classes: Swords/Axes/Maces. I have not actually tested making oath in a maul on ladder so I can't give you 100% certainty here, maybe someone else can.

Below the listed runewords, here's what is found:
Notes:
*Maces: Maces doesn't mean all Mace class weapons. As the top of the page says: Maces = Mace, Morning Star, Flail, and Exceptional/Elite versions.

The Oath runeword will not work in an Ogre Maul.
