Jul 11, 2012 After 1.03B game is freezing/lagging a lot So this is basically what happens, anything involving login in and login out freezes my game for a couple of seconds yet the cursor moves, If I try to alt tab during this freeze then I will get stuck forever on this screen. Please help as this is only happening right after the latest patch so it is obviously causing those problems, as my system is up to date and other games are running just fine. When I resume the game it freezes for a couple of seconds. When I try to quit the game it freezes for a couple of seconds. If I try to ALT+F4 it also freezes and I need to open Task Manager. It really doesnt make any sense, nothing mentioned about this on the patch notes. Yet we see something is really really wrong.Wackygoose3 Jul 11, 2012

Jul 11, 2012 Went to false blizz site. Please help. I was very very stupid and went to a link someone posted in the forums that I thought was part of the blizzard domain. I usually check all links I go to and this is the first time I was fooled in many many years. I guess I was too tired but pretty much very very stupid. I immediately turned off my computer after I noticed the website was had a bizzare url. When my computer booted back on I got this: Threat detected! File name: c:\WINDOWS.1\explorer.exe Threat name: Virus indentified worm\Generic2.CEAG Detected on open. Process name: C:\WINDOWS.1\system32\userinit.exe Process ID: 196 My only option with AVG available is "Ignore the threat. The idenified file will remain in its current location on your disk. To ensure you are protected, Resident Shield will not allow you to access files that are infected. I'm pretty sure "ignoring" the problem is not what I want to do. Please help me. Jul 11, 2012 Diablo 3 high lag rates Since I bought the game I have always had huge lag spikes almost unplayable amounts. Everything is on low with a AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series graphics card. My Diablo 3 worked 100% fine up until Monday 7/9/12 It now disconnects me from the server literally every 10 minutes or less and gives me an error 3007 code. Jul 11, 2012 Lost connection to server then error 3007 I am getting error 3007 constantly. Ever since patch 1.0.3 i get disconnected 10-30 min into every game i create, i did not get disconnected once prior to the new patch. I have received multiple emails about how to fix it and nothing has worked. I have a roommate who also plays d3 and we use the same router and modem, yet he hasn't received an error 3007 one time. I have joined general chat, power cycled my router and modem and made sure that all software is up to date, made sure i have a secondary log on in my windows operating system, and disabled my antivirus. Jul 11, 2012 ¿Stuck at Initializing? Try this... So I got this same issue every patch day (last one wasn't an exception), so I thought I share with you what I did, worked for me so here it goes.. When I start D3 the launcher screen shows "Initializing..." but the download woudn't start. Sometimes a message that says unnable to download or streaming issues appeared a few minutes later. This is what I did: I downloaded a software called Hotspot Shield. After I installed it and executed it, I could patch the game with no problems. After patching the game, turn hotspot shield off (uninstall is wise) and restart your computer. Make sure it is not running before starting the game, since I read a post of someone being banned for using it while playing. I don't have any problems and this is the second time I used with no problems, but is better to take no chances. I think that some ISP's are having issues with Blizzard, I don't have any problems playing the game, but patching has been really annoying. Jul 11, 2012 Patch Errors - How I got mine to work~ Haven't been able to play since patch and just got my client to work again and had to share! Followed these posted helpful stuff... did this but didn't fix my errors completely but may have contributed. http://www.geekybogangamer.com/diablo_3_patch_loop-error/Afterward I kept getting the Blizzard launcher with the "Install" screen. Moved my d3.exe out of the Diablo 3 folder, try to launch to an error message. THEN move the d3.exe. back into the Diablo 3 folder and it launched again almost successfully.Then I could get the blizzard launcher to run the patch but kept getting MPQ errors on patching. Went into the diablo 3 folder and deleted the MPQ files (all of the files) and ran the .exe again and it patched nearly instantly.Funny how the Blizzard Launcher platform installs folders/content on your computer that actually have to be DELETED for the patching to execute. Please let us manually manage the patch updating instead of trying to use an "easy patch exe" which typically fails. Jul 11, 2012 my mac still wont patch..! it's been almost a day already. It still wont patch. Earlier today, around 7 hours ago, it suddenly patched. I was able to play for maybe an hour, then the loop started again. Now Im stuck. I already reinstalled the game. The same thing still happens. When it goes to download the patch my game closes, the patch starts downloading and than says Diablo3 is still running and than it just stops downloading and closes its self. Jul 11, 2012 Hardcore Disconnect Deaths Just tried to save my lvl 60 HC Inferno partner from an elite pack. I heard him disconnect from skype then saw his character was just standing there as an arcane beam twisted around to him. I ran over and pulled the mobs that were hitting him off him and the arcane sentinel wacked him and proced his spirit vessel. I kept kiting the mobs away only for them to plop down another arcane sentry right on top of him. I just watched in horror as a character with 180 hours played and millions in gear stood still with a arcane beam slowly creeping towards him. It had been at least 10 seconds since my friend had DCed from skype, surely he would be removed from the game any second... Nope he died and was not removed from the game until I teleported to the exit, town portaled and had enough time for teleport to be back up off cool-down... I understand the need to make sure people don't pull the plug anytime they think they might die. However, requiring more than 10 seconds to disconnect is really overkill. Even if I knew I would be removed from the game in 5 seconds I would never yank the cord, the risk is far to great. Can we please consider disconnecting HC players from the game quicker? I will continue to play Hardcore even if you don't, but it is so disheartening to die like this. I am on my 4th HC character and I have yet to die an honorable death. I have DCed, I have died to the diablo bug, I have been tricked by PKer Giantkiller and ported into whimsy shire (By far the funniest/fairest death). Jul 11, 2012 Diablo-III-Setup-enUS.exe stuck updating... Logged in to my battle.net account to start downloading, got the installer (Diablo-III-Setup-enUS.exe) start it up, and it stops at 60%'ish. I tried the following: - Creating new administrator user account - Deleting Battle.net folder in ProgramData - Secondary Login service IS running (and set to automatic) - Double checking Agent.exe files were set to run as admin - Uninstalled ALL antivirus software, and turned off Windows Firewall (with reboot) - Tried ending task for Agent.exe while "Updating setup files" was in progress... bar went from 60%'ish back to 40%'ish then back to 60%'ish where it stood still again. I am at a loss from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Edit: FIXED... had to run each Agent.exe (three total) in compatibility mode for Windows 7, as well as set to run as admin. Jul 11, 2012 Poor Service. (Unable to log in or patch) Honestly , i've been playing Diablo for quite awhile perhaps (2-3 years?) so im not sure if im someone who understands how BLIZZARD works . But that is not important . Now we're paid to play and not paid to do your jobs (Fixing those technical issues like what the title says) . The game is getting bad in my opinion as i've seen better updates in previous games like D2LOD etc . But still , whats going on with the update? Instead of updating , patching and improving game , i'm UNABLE to patch OR log in . I've read many threads and yeah its true , this is frustrating . I apologise for the honest feedback but this thing has occured for 2 days and i'm not pleased with what BLIZZARD is providing . The service DEFINITELY needs to be improved before the game goes into failure . Come on work something for us , LEAST let us PLAY THE GAME . Jul 11, 2012 GeForce Freeze Bandaid Solution I do think it is a shared issue for GeForce GPUs, as much, much better systems still suffer bugs with this game. I use GeForce 9800GT 512RAM. I have tried it, tested it, so far it is working, it "feels" better at the very least. If mine craps up, I honestly think it's just my system. If there is still freezing, I will be taking down this post. My game's been freezing my system while playing DIII numerous times, all random, which points to GPU heat issues, or just struggling to keep up with the pace of the game. I play other graphics-heavy games, and it does not freeze like DIII. Why random? Game's perfect. Great settings, max resolution for my system, smooth gaming then poof. Lowest settings, poof. Windowed not windowed, POOF. Idle in town, POOF. Minimize DIII, surf, do whatever, maximize DIII POOF. Ten minutes into playing POOF. Fifteen? POOF. One hour? POOF. Thirty minutes? POOF. Cool down system, stresstest your system without DIII, fine. Turn on DIII POOF. Yes, all related to DIII. Seems funny but it is frustrating. This can also be a solution for driver crashes for those experiencing Chrome crashes due to Flash (minor solution: disable hardware acceleration for your flash) This was the solution that worked for me, might work for you. The following will help out your old (or new) GPU's temps as well. My temps ranged from 60-70c prior to some tweaks, and after, never went beyond 60c. No OC. SOLUTIONS: - Roll back drivers to 296.10 (Stop here, do not go beyond. You can go lower, but I would not know how it will react). Search for it in the nvidia website. This will also work for those suffering issues from Flash conflicts with their browsers. This is the first WHQL set that also accomodates DIII if I am not mistaken. Prior to this set of drivers, you probably will get the "drivers are outdated" whatever. This will probably fix some issues. - Check your Nvidia Control Panel. Turn off FXAA, do not use any "adaptive" v-sync and check your PhysX processing. Take note, the earlier two mentioned come along with the latest drivers, and I think they are the ones conflicting with everything. Leave it at "auto-selected", or make it CPU. This is the main cause for intense heat. At least for my card, it was a 10c loss when I auto-selected. DIII is a PhysX-heavy game, which makes it more fun AND frustrating with the freeze. To summarize, the game's truly at fault here. If not the game, then on Nvidia. There is something broken there that does not maintain stability with the GPUs. I am no expert, but if you are like me, where your PC only craps up on DIII games, then you know something's up with the game. Don't be too hard on yourself or anything if you think it's your system. Before doing anything else about your system, please do be patient and diagnose it before underclocking or whatnot. My system: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit AMD Athlon 7750 Dual-Core 4GB RAM Hope this helps somewhat. Worth giving a shot before tinkering with the hardware.Scherbatsky2 Jul 11, 2012

YOU told us that there is a new patch of Diablo 3 is available and get it and download it. But, in the end.... The same problem is still existed and remained after I followed the instructions given. Why do you want us to update everything by ourselves but is not updated by the game technicians?? Can you please do the updates just like what other online games have done, for instance, when we are logging into the game, the updates have already done by game technicians.. but NOT BY OURSELVES the gamers.. We spent money to buy the Diablo 3 CD and install to enjoy and play the game..but, can you please improve your services to your CUSTOMERS..?? This is the WORST online game I ever played...OMG!
