I would like to preorder D3 at some point. I feel no need to give any money to a middle-man like Amazon for a product I can get directly from the source. But store.blizzard.com seems to be the only site where I can't yet preorder D3. Why haven't they put up a page for this yet?

I think the laser is pretty good gameplay. On the fence about whether or not I like its visual aesthetic. But if people are going to QQ to the extent of not buying the game over such a small issue, personally I'm glad I'll never have to encounter them in pubs.

Without knowing your screen resolution it's impossible to tell. You can run D3 with integrated graphics if you ratchet that down enough.

'twould be heartbreaking if they delayed it further, but I wouldn't put it past them. Just wish they would give us some clarity on what to expect. Then again, if they do end up having to delay it, the devs themselves probably feel the same way. I'm sure they want to get the game out just as much as we want them to get it out, but for whatever reason things just aren't working the way they need them to.

Disagree. In no other game can you keep your strategy secret from your enemy. Why should you be able to in Diablo?

I don't think we have seen socketed gems yet, but I could be wrong. Certainly the built-in weapon effects are visible on the weapon. For e.g. a weapon with +arcane damage glows purple. I don't see why this would fail to be the case with socketed items.

My wife's MB Air can play it, although on the lowest settings. Could be that it would work.
