I've run the old tristram road well over 100 times between my wife and I and we have never seen Ebenezer Samuel. We tried different level characters, campaign, adventure, hardcore, softcore, every difficulty between normal and T3 and he just doesn't spawn.I'd rather it spawn 100% of the time than never.

I'm pretty sure that's how they fixed the inventory lag. It takes a while to check what items need to be shown when you open the inventory and previously, the game would populate the list of items and then show them all at once, thus creating a huge lag spike whenever you open the inventory. Now it opens inventory and allows it to populate item by item.If it makes the game more playable, does it really bother you that much?

Rakanishu's Blade is not a guaranteed drop, I found one about a week ago on a lvl70 character. Have you tried the event multiple times?

I decided against rolling back my drivers and I am using this workaround, which actually works. My drivers were updated more than a week ago, I didn't even have Diablo installed back then, so it did work with my current drivers. I suppose I could try rolling back just out of curiosity...
